It was an awesome game. Way to go Lady Eagles. Continue to work hard.

3 - 2 going into the 7th inning and Magoffin's defense fell apart and Central took advantage and scored 10 runs in the 7th to seal the victory.

The wheels come off late for the lady hornets. Chalk it up to being VERY young. Good news, this team has room to improve and a very knowledgeble staff will get them better. Bad news, JC is talented and poses huge obsticle to hornets hopes of a district title. Like I told a MC coach last night, this year is all gravy. Next year is when we can make a legitimate run for a district title.

So, how young is Magoffin County's team, Johnson Central lost at least 5 seniors.....that is like half of the team. So, JCHS is pretty young and inexperienced. It is kind of early in the season to be making predictions. I think you will see both teams make major improvements as the season goes. I still say it will be between JCHS and LCHS for the district title.

How can you say Magoffin is young. They start 2 Sr, 5 Jr, and 2 So. Being young is not the problem with this team.

JCHS has a freshman startin as catcher and a 8th grader starting at ss. Sounds like they are pretty young themselves.
