DePaul hires former Clemson head coach, Oliver Purnell.
The deal is for seven years and worth more than his $1.6 million he was earning at Clemson.

Wow. I really thought that he would have stuck it out at Clemson. Well, hopefully Depaul can start to climb back up in the difficult big east.

DePaul is located in the Chicago area and a lot of talent comes out of there and I believe Purnell can convince some of these players to stay home and get DePaul back to being competitive.

Oh yeah, I know that the talent pool will be gigantic but I wure do hope the seat does not get too hot before he can get those kinds of players in.

I do not know what Clemson is going to do about their next coach.

Wow i thought rod strickland would get the job

This is a strange move by Purnell. Clemson is a middle of the road team in the ACC, and DePaul is the worst team in the Big East every season.

He is the most overrated coach in the country.
