Tates Creek 10 Paintsville 5 (In Florida)
#1
This game was played in Florida. The game was tied 2-2 going into the 6th. Jackson was pitching another gem when his arm began to hurt after the 4th inning. Brown came in and shut them down in the 5th. The 6th was the inning that killed the Tigers. Some timely hitting by TC and a couple errors. The Tigers did put up 3 more in the 7th though. Proud of the Tigers though. They played right with one of the better teams in the state of KY. When the Tigers had the bases juiced in the 2nd and no outs....who knows, a bad hop here or a Texas League this game may have been different. But, if a frog had wings, he wouldn't....well we all know..LOL.

Tigers will be back in action again tonight at 8 pm. Their JV will be @ St. Pete Catholic today at 4:30 pm.

I figured I would put a little more for some of the parents that couldn't make it. I will also try and get some of the JV stats up later as well.

Great showing by the Tigers. It's always good to challenge yourself early so you can see what areas you are lacking in and what needs to be improved upon.

Good luck tonight!!!

Yes good job Tigers, TC could win it all. It would have been good to see what Austin could have done with them. When does he pitch?

That's quite an impressive stat line. Is that correct? 11 of 12 outs were recorded with a K?

Hook, I'm confused here. You have Brown throwing 1.3 innings and Sublett throwing1.6 innings. I get Brown's innings at probably 1/3 or 2/3 innings but I can't figure out .6 of an inning for Subby. Am I missing something in the translation. Thanks.

congrats to TC

Jackson was involved in a very unfortunate accident during Paintsville's game yesterday in Florida. Hope to get in touch with 'Hook and get an update. Keep this young guy in your prayers.

You have it pretty much figured out. The Palm that I use does it as 1 out is .3 In, and 2 outs as .6 Ins. Sublett came in as relief for for Brown with 1 out and finished the game.

Zach is fine this morning. Just a little sore. Everything came back negative. He fell head first into the fence and jammed his kneck pretty good. He just needs to rest and hopefully the soreness will be gone in a couple of days. Thanks for your concern Ring!
