I must say this is the worst possible draw for corbin. But if Corbin can keep Scott from running and play at there pace they might can pull an upset. But i believe Scott Co wins by 11.

Corbin got an awful draw. I hope they can pull the upset, but right now, I wouldn't bet on it

Warning: Meaningless information below:
Sweet 16 experience: Advantage Corbin. [/B][/B][/U]The Redhounds were in the Sweet 16 last year. Scott County was last in the Sweet 16 in 07 when they were state champions. None of the current Scott Co team have ever played in a Sweet 16 game. Corbin will not be star struck by the the big stage. It will be new to the Scott Co kids.
Coaching Sweet 16 experience: Advantage Scott County. This will be the 3rd trip to Rupp for Corbin's Coaching staff. Their record is 1-2. This will be the 9th trip for Billy Hicks and his staff. By my count Hicks has a record of 18-6 with 5 final fours, one runner up, and two state championships.
2009-2010 Record. Advantage Scott County. Corbin has an 0-1 record against the state's top 20 teams, with the one game being a competitive early season game against Scott County. Scott County has a 6-2 record against the state's best 20 teams. In addition Scott Co has played at least two teams from other states (Nevada and Maryland) who have already won their states' championship.

Corbin could beat Scoot Co. early in the year and they had 13th region officials. They have no chance.
03-11-2010, 10:25 AM
Couldn't beat them
03-11-2010, 10:39 AM
Both teams are playing their best basketball of the season now. I watched both the 13th and the 11th region finals. Both teams won in blow-outs. Both teams were very impressive.

Scott County by 22.

Corbin will have to bring their A+ game and then some. This group is a special group of Seniors they could pull the upset. On paper it doesn't look like their chances are good about doing so, but games aren't played on paper. GO HOUNDS!!!!!

Scott County will name their score, but Corbin is a good team, don't under estimate them. They beat a good Bell and Clay team. If they had a draw of someelse they might would have a great chance of advancing.

This is probably the most lopsided first-round game.

I agree tough draw for Corbin. Good luck Redhounds, but I say Scott Co by 18.

Scott Co better take Corbin very serious. The Hounds have a senior dominated team and are better than they were when SC played them in December.
03-12-2010, 02:19 PM
So is Scott Co! Starts 4 seniors that are the top players in the state! Scott County will run away with this game with speed!
