Alright guys we let the last one get out of hand. Let's all step it up and only talk about the game,NOTHING afterwards, because it deserves to be talked about. Hopefully the mods will give us a second chance.
Congrats Patriots on a good hard fought win!
Also congrats to Patriot seniors Logan Bartrum, Tate Cox, Zach Mullins, Braxton Ratliff, and Stuart Stamper for winning their last game in the Morton Combs Athletic Complex.
KCC became undefeated at home in regular season games (non-tournament) for the 2009-2010 season. Congrats guys, you make us proud!

I posted this in the other threaed that pats caused to get closed.
Good game to watch, it was back and forth the whole way.
Like 360 said, we(Perry Central alumni, former players, fans) don't make up excuses. Any other Perry Central fan reading this, don't stoop to Knott's level(PATS2011,THEVILLE, I'm sure there others) and make up excuses, were better than that. Perry played well, but Knott played better.
Cornett and Mullins played well. Tyler had a sweet dunk.
On the other end, Stuart played very good as usual, and Slone hit two huge three's(again).
These teams could play 50 times and the winner would not win by double digits one time. These two teams are so even it's rediculas.
Kind of glad Perry didn't win. Really don't want to have to beat Knott three straight times this year.
I'm not ready to declare one team better than the other. Knott one this one by 3, and Perry won the other by 7. Well see who the better team is in the potential rubber match.
Congrats Knott you deserved this one.

First of all, congrats to KCC. I think that the real big difference in the game after watching both games was Cornett. Although he had 17-18 points in both games, he wasn't on the floor as much tonight and that seemed to be when KCC made their run. I think that his presence on the court is the difference between PCC winning and KCC winning.

I can agree with this.

Anyone got the rebounding on each side?

Congrats Kcc. very good win. Way to shut down Chris Noble. Probably the first team all year to do that.

It's okay commodores, PCC will come ahead on top in the long run. You will not beat Coach Hatcher twice. I'm glad Knott won this game. :Cheerlead

Congrats PATS!!!Great win!!

Like I said in the other thread. Shot selection/missed layups KILLED Perry. Also on the last play Perry was very unorganized, which is uncharacteristic of Perry. They turned it over and was forced to foul. If Hatcher had a timeout, it should have been used, which I'm sure he didn't have one though.

I am somewhat too. Definitely don't want to attempt to beat KCC three times in a row.

This is a shocking fact. I thought it was easy to beat Knott @ Knott..... That's sarcasum by the way. Almost impossible to beat Knott there. Keep your heads up dores.

Good game for both teams and congrats to KCC for pulling it out.
These teams are both tough and barring any upsets should meet up again in region.
Keep your heads up Dores. Buckhorn awaits in the first round of district.....they're dangerous

When I saw KCC earlier in the year against Shelby Co and Seneca, I thought they had the potential to be a very good team.
Congrats on the win over a very good PCC team.
Would love to see a rematch come region tourney time.

I hope they press charges against him.....If it was my kid I sure would...You should have heard him when he stomped in the locker room...The police had to go after him....Cussing and hitting stuff....What a sore loser...May want to watch out for some assault charges Mullins...I am calling Perry County Board of Ed Monday and complaining about this kid..:redboxer:

It was alright until Perry Central's pep members got up and tried to fight with our pep section..The law had to stop that too....Perry Central showed some awful sportsmanship tonight...Very dissapointed in the way they acted...I know that the pep sections are there for a reason but not to fist fight....:dontthink

Wow sounds like some bad blood between these two teams.
As long as I've been following and watching basketball in NKY, I can honestly say I've never heard of anything that's being mentioned in here with the student sections trying to fight and a player throwing a ball in the stands and storming off the floor after a loss.

That's pretty much the reason why Perry/Hazard don't play during the regular season.

Things must be a lot more intense in the mountains than other parts of the state then, especially here in NKY.
I know Holmes and Newport don't play in football anymore because of some issues over the years but they still play in basketball and every other sport.
Hopefully the coaches and administration of both schools (PCC and KCC) will be able to keep things under control if these two meet again. I don't want to comment on any particular players but from reading the closed thread......:wtf1: is all I can think of to describe my feelings.
These two teams are too good to let emotions get the better of them. Good luck to both moving forward.
