That looks about right...talk about a tough stretch of games.

Holmes will play Warren Central tonight (weather pending), then #2 Boone on Tues, and #4 Newcath on Thurs.

I wouldn't consider Boone Co. and Newport Cath. a tough stretch of games. Neither one of them have beat anyone ranked this year. Actually both of them have had a pretty cush schedule. Yes they do play teams in the 9th but their out of Region performance has not been impressive at all.

It could be tough compared to the rest of the 9th region but Holmes should not have any problems with either team.

Against Boone Co. just 2-3 zone them and keep the ball out of the paint and Holmes should beat them easy. Boone can not and will not beat you from the perimeter.

Against Newport Cath. just don't let Pangallo light you up from 3 point range. The only other player that could hurt you is the big guy on the inside Geisler sp? Other than those two players Newport Cath. doesn't have any real threats.

I agree...I was referring more to the fact that Boone and Newcath are two of the better teams in the region.

I said in the Highlands/Holmes prediction thread that I don't see Holmes losing another game in the regular season.

The loss to Ryle really woke this team up. Look at the offensive production out of them the past 4 games.

They had some mental lapses against Dixie but Holmes has traditionally struggled against teams that play very physical against them.

They responded to that game with a dominating performance over Highlands.
