Best Player In The 15th Region?
#1
Who you got?
#2
I would have to say Carla Booth of Sheldon Clark without a doubt

Booth is a very good player.
#4
This seems to be discussed on here often. Booth is still the best, she doesnt graduate until 2011; maybe then it can be an actual topic.
#5
Holly Harris PC, Hannah Thompson PC, JJ bevins BELFRY
#6
Booth is the best I've seen since Whitley Lykins and Kim Clark. After that I think you have to start looking at Betsy Layne, either Megan Hamilton or one of her team mates who's name i do not know (I know that doesn't narrow it down at all.)
#7
I have to say Morgan Cox and Shantell Horn from Lawrence County are both playing real good ball right now.:Cheerlead
#8
No love for Belfry's JJ Bevins?

They are... but I still think Booth is the best.
#12
Megan Hamilton from Betsy Layne. She is one of the best shooters in the state. She is averaging 51% 3pt. If you watch her play her defense and the way she can break down an offense off the dribble is amazing.
#13
Carla Booth from Sheldon Clark, and the duo of Megan Hamilton, and Taylor Hott at Betsy Layne.
#14
JJ Bevins from belfry.
Carla Booth is good but Bevins
Is way more consistent.
#15
Booth is a great player Bevins is good also but shes not a defensive player.

not a defensive player? u gotta b kidding me lol

i dont think booth is much of a defensive player either.
she sure didnt prove it,
because when the two met the first game of the season
booth had 24 and bevins had 23. but bevins was 7 for 12
from the field, she was 1 for 1 from beyond the arc and
8 for 8 from the free throw line.

on the other hand booth was 5 for 16 from the field, and 1 for 5 from beyond the arc. but she was 13 for 14 from the free throw line, a few of those coming late in the game when it was close and belfry had to foul. bevins and booth were matched up for most of the night, so u tell me who played defense and who didnt play d that game.

Sheldon Clark: Carla Booth
Betsy Layne: Megan Hamilton, Taylor Hott and maybe Lindsey Martin.
Belfry: JJ Bevins
Pike Central: Hannah Thompson
#20
I'll take JJ Bevins, she's consistent, she can shoot, plays with so much heart and hustle, overall I think she's better.
#21
Lets se Booth handles the ball alot more than Bevins and she averaging 20.1 ppg along with eight rebounds, seven assists and five steals per game. Plus doesn't have to score all the points as she has a stong supporting class.
#22
I like the Castle girl from South Floyd. She is very quick and makes her teammates better with her passing. You put some different players on the floor with her and she may be getting alot more discussion
#23
I have always liked to watch Holly Harris from Pike Central. She is a solid all around good player. She can shoot the three, drive and make foul shots, especially in a close game, you want her to have the ball.

Also, Hannah Thompson from Pike Central. Gets the ball where it needs to be. Can also drive the ball well. Can rebound good too.

These two have been around for a long time. I understand they are both seniors this year. I will miss seeing them on the floor when we go to PC.

Also, Megan Hamilton from Betsy Layne, excellent three point shooter.
Amanda Sawyers and Brittney Swindell from Shelby Valley.

15th region seems to be losing a lot of talent this year.

Best of luck to all these young ladies. I have enjoyed watching all of you.
#24
Carla without a doubt
#25
Bevins from belfry is the best player i have seen play night in and night out. Plays hard every game.
#26
its booth. but I would also like to give some credit to caitlin newsome - she seems to get overshadowed and she is so special being a young up-and-comer. also brittany swindall from sv is a really complete player and maybe the best senior in the 15th...
#27
Booth - 20.1 ppg along with eight rebounds, seven assists and five steals per game.??

Really? thats amazing.
#28
I think that Taylor Hott is pretty good. Her defense is the best i have seen.. Also Megan Hamilton and Carla Booth.
#29
Swindell and Coleman from SV.
#30
I dont think Booth is over rated she is a very good player on a good team. She can go off the dribble or shoot fom outside. I would like to add another name to the mix and that is Amber Shepherd from JC. She is a good player on a bad team. She switched schools and has held back this year trying to fit in. She got her 1000 th point tonight and is just a Freshman or Sophmore. Huge upside for this young lady
