Perry Central 61 - Knott Central 54 (OT)
#1
Radio announcers ragged on the refs all night saying they were killing Perry. Really heated game. Back and forth late in the 4th. Dillon Cornett played the game of his life.Unbelievable game. Chris Noble ran overtime.

This thread will be closely watched, so let's keep the discussion clean and not bash any players, coaches, fans, refs, etc.

Congratulations to Coach Hatcher and Perry Central.

Good Game

Congrats PCC

Congratulations to both teams on playing well. As for the radio comments you obviously were not listening to the same one I was. The good news for both teams is that the 14th region tourn. will be played on a neutral site with 15th region officials. Everytime these two teams meet it is competitive and the fans support their teams to the end. Good luck to the Pats in the next game.

congrats pcc...... knott co keep up the hard work
#7
Not seen a better game in a while. Keep your heads up Pats. Great Game to both teams!
#8
Sounds like a great game!!!! Congrats PCC!!!
#9
Why was the ball not in Stamper's hands in OT? He'd packed them all night and then in OT he doesn't get off a shot?? The ball should be in Cox's and Stamper's hands more and let Davis be the role player.

Seems like the game could have gone either way. Anybody with stats.

Great game by both teams tonight, that was prlly the best Knott has played this year, they was hitting their shots & when they got up by 7 or 8 there in the 2nd half I surely thought they was gonna come away with the win, but they went cold & perry picked it up & wanted it more at the end....I thought the refs were decent not the best, but good enough....Congrats DORES!!

Oh God. Let us have some fun. Big Grin

Congrats PCC. This game proved to me tonight that KCC will be fine against PCC anywhere except at PCC. The game should have never went to OT. Good job Patriots, you shouldn't be down at all. I can't wait till they get what's waiting for them in Hindman.

Seriously, if there is no ref bashing, fan bashing, or player bashing, what's left to talk about from this game?

Hatchers best decision of the night was to put Noble on Cox, he really slowed Tate down, and him or Stamper was going one on one every play...jus like last year. That's why Perry has dominated Knott lately. They don't have the talent Knott has, but they have a better TEAM. More to come later..

Upset?
I guess I don't have to make up excuses about the refs. I expect none from you guys.

Man the anouncers even said Perry was getting the worst of the calls.

Congrats Commodores, As I said in the pregame thread as much as I didnt want to see Cornett play that much but he did and he dominated like I thought he would.KCC really cant matchup with the big guy. I knew he would have a big game and he was the diff in this game. I was impressed but he has to control that temper.I would like to see him and big fugate from Haz battle.

Refs did make a few bad calls, and sometimes no calls but I dont think the refs made the difference in this one.

Chris Nobel in overtime was the difference.

Where was Mullins at tonight?

He had a lot of boards but was kinda sloppy on the offense.

All I can say is there was NO charge. That's definitely the difference. But this shouldn't have happened ANYWAY! Knott should never have let Perry within 5 the rest of the game.

A charge is defined as being knocked down while playing legit defense while the offensive player lowers shoulder. The defender on Zach was not set and was running beside him, not playing defense, and just happened to end up in front when Zach stopped to take the shot. He didn't even lower his shoulder.
