A tale of 2 halves. PHS played good in the first half and bad in the 2nd. Lynn Camp vice versa.

When PHS stopped Lynn Camp on about PHS's 10 yard line to start the 2nd half, I felt a lot better. Then the next play, PHS fumbled a pitch and LCHS was in business at PHS's 2 yard line.

PHS dropped passes that stalled drives in the 2nd half. PHS had the ball very little in the 2nd half. LCHS had the ball at least 18 minutes in the 2nd half. My hats off to LCHS for not letting the game get away from them. Great come back. They did a great job containing Pugh in the 2nd half.

Question?????????? Was that 65 yard run at the end of the first half by Pugh HUGE or what????????????

Way to go Tigers. Now you have a huge game next Friday at Somerset. Good Luck .

OMG ... what a game folks... I was on the edge of my seat at the end of it... that blocked field goal really saved The Ville' in the end... Congrats to the boys in BLUE !!! what a game, what a game... Daniels run was spectacular though... it was better than the one he had against Evarts... WOW... WOW... WOW...

Good Luck next week, and hopefully Hans will be cleared to play (still has a hairline fracture in that collar bone!!!)

Not the kids fault, when backed up in your own territory the option is never a smart play to run. You got to give yourself some breathing room. The Tigers lost the momentum completely for the second half after that play. Congrats to the Tigers, make the necessary adjustments, stay focused and play ball next week. The defense showed up for Paintsville, after being absent as of recent. Hats off to the great Lynn Camp program on a fine season. I've known Dave Mitchell for a few years now, he's a great coach and an even better man. Kudos to all those Camper fans who made the long haul, they stay right with their team through thick and thin.

Congrats to the Tigers on a big win! Pugh played a great game, on the ground, in the air, blocking a PAT to win the game. He played and all around great game. I am looking forward to the game next week. Hopefully Paintsville will be regional Champs!
#20
Well I have to say i thought Lynn Camp had em in the 4th...It was Definetly a Heart Breaker for the Wildcats.....It was as good a second half effort as i have ever witnessed

Chaffin going down with a hip pointer/bone bruise in the first quarter of this game decided the outcome as much as anything else on the field. It affected Lynn Camp on both sides of the ball and showed until adjustments were made after halftime. Jimmy could'nt run a lick after the injury, but did gut it out. EXCELLENT effort Cats!!! Came up short, but not for the lack of effort. You came back and scarred them and it was'nt over until it was over. Way to leave it all out there. Another great season, let's get ready for '06 and show them what we got!!

P'ville and Somerset should be one of the best games next week.....but what a way to win.....blocking an extra point attempt......congrats to coach Runyon and the Tigers and i'll be rooting for u all next week!

Correction Wes Ward blocked the PAT not Pugh. Pugh had a great game, but seem to struggle late in the game offensively. Freno played well as did the o-line offensively. A lot of kids stepped up big defensively, Hicks and Sublett come to mind specifically the linebackers played 10 times better this week. Andrew Brown played great early defensively, he smeed to get lost in the 4th as Lynn Camp was attacking Paintsville's defense off the edge. Congrats again to both teams, one of the best games I've seen all year.

Congrats Paintsville

Sorry about your luck Lynn Camp but congratulations to Paintsville on squeaking by with that win. Best of luck in the rest of the tourney.

It shouldn't have been that way... we were up 28-7 at halftime... fumble at the 3 yard line (I think it was the 3, maybe 2) and they scored and they got the momentum rollin' after that... blocked PAT by Wes Ward saved the game... although not letting time expire in the end gave them one more shot to pull it off... we started playing very conservative in the 3rd and it almost bit us...

Way to go Tigers, only you and Belfry remain of the tri-county teams, represent us well!
