No listened to the game knipp was 12-40 from the field. Fairview just to many weapons for Elliott Terry had 22 I think Collins 17 and Jackson 18 no sure on those numbers but close had to get much out of Eagles announcers. They are not in the same league as Ashlands or Grayson's announcers.

Elliott up 5-0 after that Fairview led pretty much the whole game with Elliott's biggest lead maybe 1 or 2. Fairview handled the pressure well. Jackson on fire from outside and Gunter had 2 dunks Terry looked as if he had a 40 inch verticle on his rebounds just a great game by the WOOD. Ison was the man for Elliott played a great game & the point gaurd looked good also. Good Luck Eagles at the all A state.

Thanks for the updates, guys.
I think this may be a "coming out" game for Fairview. They played one of the top teams in the region, and it sounds like they handled it pretty well. When Fairview is clicking, there really aren't many options, in terms of who you leave to help out on their scorers.
Then again, Fairview played a solid game against Ashland when they met at Raceland, and didn't really play that well in the rematch.
I guess it depends on which Fairview team shows up, but either way, you take them lightly at your own risk.

I watched the game and I believe Fairview was the better team player for player, but I think they lack a true point guard. That being said they are both capable as well as East Carter,Ashland and Fleming of going on a three game run and and going to the state tournament. The 16th is more wide open than any other region in the state. And don't go to sleep on West carter when the Get Raybourn back.

Well said, Coffee. I agree with everything you posted, but I would add that I think Lewis is also capable of getting hot.
Like you, I'm beginning to think that the region is W-I-D-E open.

Congrats Fairview! The 16th should be interesting to watch with Fairview, Elliott, East, Ashland and like someone said, don't overlook West when Raybourn comes back!

Not sure Knipp has ever been defended llike that. Fairview did a great job of mixing up the size of the player guarding Knipp. Sometimes a smaller defender with Terry in constant helpside, or sometimes Terry with a guard doubling down from the top. Terry is VERY athletic, and forced TK to change/alter some of his shots.

Well, 12 for 40 is pretty obscene, so it seems fairly obvious that whatever Fairview was doing was pretty effective. Did Fairview use a six or seven man rotation, HD, or did they go a little deeper?

Good luck Fairview... tough draw being with O-Cath, UHA, and Lex. Christian.
