Nice to see Tyler and Taylor Newsome each put up over 20 points. Burchett had a nice game for Pburg, but the Blackcats had way too many turnovers.

Pburg had to have one win to get to the the semis. They beat Betsy Layne in the first round. That is their only win of the year.

KCC has already come within 3 of SV, so we know we not not invincible, just trying to play out the season to the best of our ability. Lots of challenges ahead. GO Wildcats!

SV just dominated as they should have. Prestonsburg made some nice plays and put up a good effort early, but SV just had too much talent.

Shelby Valley obviously has the best talent in the Region. But beating 15th region teams like they have will eventually come back to bite them. They started subing some in the 4th Quarter but still had Justice and Hatfield in the game. When they took them out they put the two Newsome boys back in. Took his last two starters out with 5:00 to go in the game up 40 points. They will eventually have a down year, I just hope for their sake that the other coaches show a little more class and don't run the score up. I guess time will tell.
