Anthony Evans led Pikeville with 15 points and Josh Whitaker led Hazard with 16. Pikeville trailed about 13-3 after the 1st if I remember correctly.

Hazard did lead 13-3 at end of first quarter and 23-18 at half but were outscored 18-9 in 3rd quarter.Not sure what happened then.Fouls?Pikeville was just hot shooting?Both scored 17 in last quarter.

Evans had 4 threes in the game. 3 were in the late stages. BJ Combs DNP. Hazard did have a lot of fouls, Whitaker had 3 mid-way through the 3rd and sat for a lot of it.

Both teams fouled a lot in 2nd half. But they were both playing very agressive defense. Very good game to watch. Both teams played very hard and should get a pat on the back... Good luck to both

Hazard has been up and down all year. You never know if they will show up to play or just go through the motions. Their only good win comes from Scott which is not a very good team. I would not be suprised to see Johnson Central upset Hazard in the WYMT tourney.

I would not blame the officials for the loss. It was a typical called game of the 15th. One of the better games that I have seen this year. The defense on both team was great. Both team should be proud of their efforts.
