Letcher Central Lady Cougars rolled over Belfry tonight. This game could have been worse as Coach Adams pulled his defense back to halfcourt and the reserves played most of the fourth quarter.

Erica Meade started but she had a bad game. She could never get going on offense. She continued to play good defense. The Lady Cougars are very team oriented. They play so well together that if one is playing bad another picks up the slack. A good example is during the Owsley County game, Erica Meade had 22 points while Brittany Sexton did not score. During the game last night, Erica Meade could not get her offense started and didn't score while Brittany Sexton picked it up and scored 22 points.

LCC lady cougars are very well balanced hard to guard everyone..Alot of weapons for Dickie this year...DOnt know stats but I would say LCC has 3 or 4 players averaging double figures.....

Brittany Sexton, Shannon Bays, Kelah Eldridge, and Erica Meade are all averaging right at double figures or more. Haley Whitaker and Julie Cornett could also be in that category if they increase their scoring. They are both averaging around 8 points a game.
