Advice on a Bat
#1
My 13 year old daughter has made a Travel Team and needs a new bat.

I'm looking at a DeMarini CF4 that's -10 and 32/22. She tried one out the other night that was a CF3 and liked it but the new model is out now.

Has anyone played with it or have any recommendations?

My daughter has used Easton bats for the past several years, they have served her and her team very well. (Stealth and Syngery). I have heard that the Catalyst by Louisville Slugger is a good bat, but I have not purchased one.
I will also add that we never played a team last season that did not have several girls use the Easton Stealth -10. I give it 2 thumbs up.

For youth sports, you cannot go wrong with the Easton Stealth. I've never been a fan of the DeMarini because of the end-load. If your daughter is strong enough, then the end-load is a good bat to use. If not, I would look at a balanced load Stealth.

Go with an Anderson Rocket Tech.

At this age-any bat that feels good to her hands and arms will do the job.Ballance is the key here-not the cost of a bat or a brand name/not what others are using or how good the bat looks.I bought our team some bats last year that cost $275 ea. girls that used them said there WAS NOT any difference in their hitting from when they used our older bats-and their stats proved this to be so.Do your Daughter a favor and get her ballanced with a bat SHE feels good with before you spend a bunch of money on one she may find down the road-was not a good pick.

I have the DeMarini cf4 black and I love it. They are kinda expensive but well worth the cost imo
