Bell County @ Boyle County 11/27
BellCoBobcats09 Wrote:300 seriously or are you dreaming? Alcoa's RB didnt even come close to that. You guys are going to be in a big shock if you think he will run anywhere that many yards on Bell Co. I did mention before Bell Co has shut down and beaten the Top 2 rushing teams in Class 4A already. #1 Marion Co and #2 Lawrence Co (shutout, RB Pack total rushing yards 54)

yep you mentioned it 10000s of times already......we know, we know, you played alcoa, geez give it a rest:zzz:
Good luck Bell this week. I gained a ton of respect for the Bell program last week. It should be a great game.

And they beat Rockcastle worse than Boyle did...........:eyeroll:

Does this mean Boyles offense is better than Bells, of course not. You can not compare scores from earlier in the season and try and predict the outcome of a game that is taking place 13 weeks later.

Hmmmmm. Boyle Co played them at Home and had all starters. Bell Co had to travel to a hard place to win at regardless and was without 3 GREAT starters that game. Not to mention we had the ball on the 15 yard line with over a min and took a knee twice to end the game so actually 43-6. JV played half the 3rd and all thw 4th. Anything else?

Boyle Co had to FIGHT to beat Rock by as many as they did with the varsity in the whole game. Heard Boyle Co forced a fumble late for the last TD with about a min or so to go in the game.
BellCoBobcats09 Wrote:Is Boyle Co ready to stop Davenport, Mills, Hilton, Carton, and Collett on Friday night? Bell Co can go deep to keep fresh legs in. Bells go to RB Cory Davenport doesnt even play defense at all. He always has fresh legs in the game. Our 2 bruisers are Mills and Hilton.

If your depending on the run to win this game it wont happen you better have a balenced game plan.you guys had all kinds of problems running on us last year, and our defense is much improved this year. on the other hand we will have problems running on Bell to.

Oh yea sorry. I forgot Alcoa in that again. Alcoa going for 6th straight State Championship and is ranked 44th in the Nation!!

Once again, what does this mean 13 weeks later?
yeah we will have something in common with Alcoa then....6:biggrin:

Dont worry we are more balanced this year than last. Also Sophmore Cory Davenport also didnt play last year. Hes twice as fast as any back we had on the team in 08. 4.4 40 is sweet to have behind a 6'4, 6'3, 6'3, 6'1, and 6'0 offensive line.

You keep talking about shuting down Marion countys rushing attack, according to the K.H.S.A.A.stats for the game Marion shut down your running game.Bell had 118 yds rushing, and Marion had 236 yds rushing.

Thats good cause i didnt see that Bell had any better than averege speed last year, and we have played several teams with Bells size this year.so we are used to playing teams with more size.
What does alcoa tn have to do with bell vs Boyle nothing they beat you guys so what big deal we don't give a hoot. Hear kitty kitty.
Here are some stats on both teams:

Bell Co:

Rushing
RB Davenport 185 attempts 1,770 yards 29 Td's
FB Hilton 68 attempts 521 yards 9 Td's
FB Mills 34 attempts 338 yards 2 Td's

QB
Madon 63 out of 107 passes 1,314 yards 17 Td's (2) Int's

Receiving
Davenport 23 receptions 601 yards 9 Td's
Raines 18 receptions 371 yards 4 Td's

Defense
Hilton 138 tackles
Brown 106 tackles
Lawson 94 tackles
Patterson 81 tackles

Boyle Co

Rushing
MacSharra 204 attempts 2,684 yards 41 Td's
Dawson 39 attempts 317 yards 2 Td's
Hester 37 attempts 314 yards 5 Td's

QB
Goldsmith 88 out of 150 passes 1,286 yards 12 Td's (6) Int's

Receiving
Dawson 17 receptions 353 yards 2 Td's
MacSharra 17 receptions 329 yards 3 Td's

Defense
Dawson 149 tackles
Aumiller 87 tackles
Campbell 71 tackles
Hester 70 tackles

Looks like to me Boyle Co doesnt throw to any true WR's. Only on screen passes to there Rb's out of the backfield. Lock onto MacSharra and Dawson and GAME OVER!!

Thats impressive. You have to be the top rated rushing team in 4A with that size. Let me go check real quick and see......................oh whats that, not even Top 10? Something must be wrong............Must be that pesky Alcoa game that held you back.

Well its looks like you got a great game plan there. Now all you have to do is come up here to Rebel stadium in front of thousand's of crazy rebel fans and execute.

The Marion Co game Bell didnt run much. They threw the ball alot. Marion Co got most of there yards in the 4th when they left there Varsity in and we had our JV in. We was up 27-6 with only 6 min to go in the game. Our JV let them back in it and we had to put the Varsity back in. Marion Co also recovered a onside kick on our JV squad.

Bell Co had 170 yards passing that game, 136 rushing. Total 305 yards. Most came in the first 3 quarters.

Marion Co had 106 yards passing and 235 rushing yards. Total 341 yards. Most came in the 4th against our JV while there Varsity was still in.
according to your stats Bell throws to davenport more than we throw to reese.most of reeses catches are at the reciever pos.not out of the back field.dawsons catches have come at tight end and reciever not out of the back field.looks to me like if we shut down davenport we shut down Bell.
I was just going by the stats, and they say Bell was the team that got shut down on the ground not Marion.

Wrong Davenport....if it were only that easy. We have 2 of the speedsters....lol.

Bell Co:
Total rushing yards 3,455
Total passing yards 1,340
Total - 4,795 yards

Boyle Co:
Total rushing yards 3,227
Total passing yards 1,340
Total - 4,567 yards

Bell Co has rushed and passed for more yards than Boyle Co and has more total yards all together. Even playing against Alcoa.... :yikes:TongueirateSho

Bell Co has 4 Td's off turnovers.
Boyle Co has 3 Td's off turnovers.
The Davenports are brothers. Sophmore Cory is the RB, and Junior Cody is the WR. Both run great speeds. Cory a 4.4 40 and Cody 4.5 40.

Believe it or not we have some kids as fast as davenport or faster.Bell wont have any more speed than Boyle.

I don't doubt that....was just saying you can't just cover Davenport....because there are 2 of them.

The NUMBERS are FACT that Bell has more total yards than Boyle Co.:1:
SPEED wont help if it cant get out of the back field.as far as speed goes we play a team in Danville every year that has more speed than Bell will ever dream about year in and year out.if your defense attacks speed correctly you wont have any problems with it.as for me we will continue this discussion tomarrow i have a early date with a treestand in the morning, its been fun though.
