Good season for the Commodores and I hate to see Jordan Amis go out like this because he is one of the most underrated football players in the state.

Good win for the Maroons. Coach Hatcher will have his team at full strength on Monday.

Congrats to Pulaski Co., and to the Dores who had a great year. I agree Amis is a great football player.

Pulaski should have won. They have loads of talent and have under achieved all these years. If they don't win the region it is a disappointment IMO. Shame Perry didn't win so it would have been a clean sweep in the district.

i think it was devin turner.

Perry starts out strong and slows down towards the end of the season. They need to realize that the season doesn't end after the Letcher Central game, win or lose.

I think your wrong. I know the first 2 were over the corners, and the third was a cross pattern over the middle that broke when Amis missed a tackle. Pretty sure they play a lot of zone also, so I'm not exactly sure if it was one man that kept getting beat. I know one player didnt give up all 3.

Cody Campbell..possibly the worst DB to ever play the game.

I think Perry was taken out of this game after there first offensive play Amis had about a 60 yrd run called back on an illegal procedure call. The refs missed late hits all night and one on the Pulaski Co. sideline that I even heard some of the Pulaski Co. fans say that kid needed to be thrown out for.

What do you mean by this?

All Coach Browne has in stroe for this team is getting out of town. I think the poster is referring to the young talent that they have coming up, which they have some, but in no way will they be able to replace Jordan Amis. They can say what they want to, but this kid is a real athlete and they can just hope to have someone close to his abilities in years to come. Good luck Perry in finding first, someone to teach your kids to play defense in the secondary since Coach Browne is in hot pursuit of another job upstate and 2nd being able to tackle when you do get in the right place, and lastly, finding someone to be half as good as Jordan was.

If Browne got offered the Madison Central job, he would be a fool not to take it. Everything football related is better in Madison County.

Games like this upset me so much. Rockcastle had a 3 TD lead on Pulaski County and let PC win on a last second TD pass. I will see scores of games like this and see that success that PC is having and realize how much better the Rockets are then their losing record.
I am not trying to turn this into a Rockcastle thread, so I will stop.
Pulaski is a very fast, very skilled offensive football team. Abner, RC White and Eastham are great. A friend of mine (who is a member of this site) told me that PC would become a more balanced team whenever Eastham took over as QB, he was RIGHT. He has led this team to a playoff win, and has them playing good football.

Are you including Madison Southern AND Berea high school in this equation? :lmao:
11-09-2009, 01:54 PM
Then why would they offer him the job? :please:
11-09-2009, 03:27 PM
There is only ONE real high school football team in Madison County and its CENTRAL. No I wasnt talking in terms of Southern and Berea. Browne would be a heck of coach for Central. The man is more dedicated than any other coach I have ever saw. Browne does more with less talent than anyone I know.

What has Perry central done?

Wait, all I have heard this season is how talented this group was. So.......why?
11-10-2009, 03:09 PM
Why does everyone believe that Browne is going to Madison Central??? Has Madison Central fired their coach?
11-10-2009, 03:13 PM
Every year someone starts a thread that Browne is going somewhere. It is just a way to get under his skin why he is not. It has almost become a joke.
11-10-2009, 03:30 PM
That's why as coaches, you can't read message boards..... Everyone has an opinion and everyone is going to spread rumors, whether true or not.....
11-10-2009, 03:33 PM
If you are a coach I'm sure your feelings won't get hurt on a message board. If so don't read it. These are opinions from fans. Your skin may need to be a little tuff.

Not really, he himself would tell you he put in applications at every school that had an opening that he thought was better than this one and coming from him, any school would be better than this one to work for. Always complaining about them not having a field of their own and him having to do all the work on it, etc. etc. etc.....Why you ask does he keep coming back, I have no idea, maybe because no one else will have him. What has he shown he can do with a team???? A school with a 1000 kids should be winning games shouldn't they??? So it's not like he is accomplishing a miracle with these guys, they have some talent, that is why they are winning games. Jordan Amis took so many bad calls and busted plays and turned them into major plays and many touchdowns, he was the key to this team scoring, not some great play calling from anyone. :HitWall:
