why? Why is it always poor officials? I challenge any fan out there to get your license and do what they do...... I was not there as I thought this game would be a blow out but Breathitt is notorious for whinning and blaming officials.

I agree. I am not crying about the officiating or any touchdowns which were called back. Breathitt should have won this game by Fifty Points. Breathitt's defense played well but the offense was once again to predictable.

lol i attend breathitt county high scholl but hate their football program..if you stop channing fugate you beat breathitt county...i hate it when people say that they are going to state..there is school spirit and then there is reality...if they do make it past somerset..they will not make it past belfry!!

well it is now obvious that you dont need to come back to breathitt on monday. i dont know who all on here was at the game but personally they did stop channing fugate but could someone remind me of the score oh yea 26-0. and you say if you stop channing you win so what in the **** happen in this game he was basically shutdown but they still rolled on as they will do next week as well even if channing dont have a breakout game.

Somerset is just as good as Belfry IMO, so if Breathitt makes it past Somerset, they may make it all the way. Belfry has to make it past Mason Co. and Sheldon Clark before getting to a possible rematch with Breathitt. The boys need to concentrate on Garrard County and take it one game at a time because they are not good enough this year to look past anyone, especially at this stage of the playoffs.

Breathitt will not show everything they have in the playbook in the early rounds IMO. There are scouts in the stands and it would be a mistake to show everything against weaker opponents and give the tougher opponents a look and time to prepare.

Say what you want but 26-0 over Wayne co. is terrible. No way, shape, form or fashion will Breathitt win 3a or even make it to Bowling Green. Wayne co. was an average at best 4 seed and Breathitt only scores 26 points. Don't start that playing possum stuff either Bull. If Breathitt could have scored 50, they would have but they couldn't. I mean if it was 42-0 or even a 48-7, It would look like mabey Breathitt was back but it was a 26-0 win over a 4 seed. Just not impressive at all.

If they did he is getting 0% blocking. He should have had 5 or 6 td's vs. Wayne co. Bobcats still are not clicking from the sound of it. Hey, Pike Central is though. :yikes:

If i am not mistaken Somerset beat Wayne Co. 19 -0 ,early in year so they are not a heavy weight,and i agree with you Bobcats will have to step it up more each game and change some plays,like passing more because up the middle isnt working,no blocking and Channing is getting stuffed and he has to have room to roam,i believe in Bobcats and they should make it back to the finals!!

Belfry is the team to beat on this end. They beat LCC and SC. Somerset is not a powerhouse, yeah they're 11-0 but they are beatable. Breathitt's passing game is going to determine how far they go. They're best wins were over Pulaski and Knox C.
Not dissing Breathitt but they should have hung at least 40 or better on 4 seed Wayne. Breathitt is fortunate 3a is down on this end. Belfry is the team to beat in this end of the state in 3a.

If we would of got some of the Td's they called back we could of scored 40. Somerset beat wayne 9-0 during district play, so it wasn't you average 4 seed. Breathitt hadn't played in 3 weeks, so rust was also a factor. It is going to be an interesting 3-4 weeks in 3A.

im sorry to tell you but these wins and losses are nothing!
it depends on the way people feel that day & how high there spirits are.
if breathitt is ready to play, they will kick any teams butt.
its not all about "11-0" or "6-5"
its about how they chose to play.

I think he is talking about Somerset beating those 2. If Breathitt keeps it up and stays focused we have a very good chance.

Well....it's 1 of 2 things........

either Wayne is that good......or ........everybody else is that mediocre.

At this point.....I'll side with the latter.

Breathitt, Belfry, Mason, Sheldon Clark, Somerset, PCC......there's not a real good team in the whole bunch.

All of em' are just slightly north of average......and IMO, that's not going to cut against Central.

It's really depressing.

Just glad that Breathitt won! Alot people were actually picking Wayne to win this one and i think Breathitt Co deffinetly shut that book with a shutout!! Should be another win next week against Garrard Co next week! Go Cats!
