Rock Played a good Game tonight. the score could have been worst. rock fumbled 2 times on 1st and goal fixing to score. I was suprized on how well rocks D played they ony gave up one score. the other two came vs the jv with 3:04 left and :07 left in the game. Rock RB Clark Rowe had a big night, He had 6 rushing td's and didnt play hafe of the third and all of the 4th.

Overall Rockcastle's team manage to put up over 300 points scoring for the year, This has not been done for Rockcastle since 2006. Rockcastle can possibly pull off an upset at Log Mountain in the second round of the 2009 Class 4A Kentucky High School Football Playoffs, Rockcastle's senior players: Dustin Bishop,Matt Bullens,Derrick Thacker,Dalton Dillingham,Jamie Todd,Cole Abney,and Brian Morrison stuck around all four years and amassed the 30 win mark in their varisty football careers, Cody DeBoarde,Kyle Riddle and Brandon Jones came in 2007 has 19 wins with the team. Good luck to Rockcastle County on rest of the season!!!!!!!!!

I was about to post that this game was MUCH worse than what the score indicates. Rowan scored twice on the JV within the last 3+ minues.

Cross was absolutely shut down, as far as I remember. Rockcastle, aside from the stupid mistakes they always make, played some of their best football tonight.

I hate that Bell County is the 2nd round team, but that is the way it goes sometimes. Games are not played on paper or in a poll on BGR, come on Rockets! Let's shock the Commonwealth. (Rockets backs are CERTAINLY against the wall)

While it's true that the Rowan team that had been playing this season didn't show up last night, you should be alittle more respectful. They may not be the best team in the state, but they have come a long ways from what they were (even from last season) and I bet they will continue to do so.

Yes, you are right Rowan has never done anything. But, the new staff has changed the culture in Morehead. They BELIEVE the team can win now. The Rock game was the 1st playoff game hosted in Morehead in 25 years. This is also the 1st winning season since 1998. The head coach ShaDon Brown is from Danville and has a winning pedigree. He will keep the program going up from here. They started 4 seniors on offense and 5 on defense they have all their skill kids returning including Cross, Wing, and Hodge. Great year and turn around from 4-7 to a 7-4 season. ROCK great season but you all will be watching the state title game just like we will be doing at Rowan. Our 7-4 will look better than your 5-7 because Bell will beat you down next week just like they always do.:Clap:
