Letcher Central @ Louisville Moore 10/30
#1
Thoughts?
#2
LCC in a runaway.
#3
Do not know that much about them except they are class3A, and they are in the same district as Louisville Central.

Central

LCC will come ready to play, and should have the JV in the by the 4th
#6
It will be a good game and most JV may not see any playing time. LCC did not look good Friday night and the big city may scare them. After all it is Halloween time......

He (Stardust) is picking LETCHER CENTRAL cougarpride, lol..

Moore is not a powerhouse at all. They are young, but have some great talent in their school. They have even better talent in their community, but they never see the HS, because of the dominating power of Fern Creek and Fairdale High

THis is a tricky game for LCC, First off, there is a 5 hour bus ride. Their is also a mixed style of play, Moore has been spread with pretty good athletes in the past.

Im going with the upset in a trap game.

MTS 28
LCC 24

Moore also has a great stadium/Facilites for football.

Don't know anything about Moore, but i'll go with the team from the mountains. GO COUGARS!!!
#14
Letcher Central-by kind of an easy way
#15
I am afraid that Louisville Moore will give us matchup problems. They are one of the weaker teams in Louisville, but what is a weak team in Louisville, lol..They could come to the mountains and win 8-9 games. I sure don't see a blowout like some are expecting. If we just come out with a win, then I will be happy.
#16
In no disrespect to either team, but if LCC can't beat Moore, then they will not be able to make it deep in to the playoffs. With that being said, LCC seems to be playing some good football as of late and should win by 3+ touchdowns. Moore is not disciplined enough to play 4 quarters with a team from the mountains that can be physical.

Smart coaching by LCC to schedule this game regardless of the outcome. If LCC was to win its region and if Highlands was to do the same, LCC would have a long bus ride to Ft. Thomas to play Highlands in the semi state game. The trip to Louisville could help get the Cougars acclimated for the long bus trip to Ft. Thomas.

Would be nice, but I think we are way a head of our self with that statement. Cougars have to take it one game at a time.

And has ALOT of growing up to do..FAST!

You said a mouth full Playboy, I just wish they would watch Coach Cal speech, and use that for football. His message about working together, having fun, and not wanting the season to end should be instilled in the minds of these kids. Especially the seniors. I know it is a different sport, but I think it would work.

Is Letcher having to deal with any injuries that could have an affect on the game?
#23
Thank You cougarpride..They need to watch Hoosiers ...Sad part is..They shouldn't have to watch anything to get them motivated or to get the want back in them..Always has been a problem with Letcher County athletics..I don't know..To stay focused throughout a season seems like a job instead of the want to perform. And to answer about injuries..Jessie Rose hurt us alot when he went down..I think more on the defensive side than offense.

Is Collins and Blair going to be able to play? I think both of their knees are bothering them. I know it is looking bad for the Blair kid....
#25
The Blair kid is as tough as a pine knot. He will play, he played for me with a metal post sticking out of his finger, he just asked me to brace it up and turn him loose. Not sure about Collins, didn't know he was hurt.
#26
LCC WINS BIG! I've said it from day 1. LCC will be playing Highlands in the semi's.
#27

LCC wins big even with a coople of ther best not playing..Hopfully Jesse will be back for playoffs if we make it to Highlands. Hopefully I say. I think we'll see an LCC/Whitley rematch in the playoffs and possibly an LCC/Harlan rematch as well.
