Russell County @ Allen County-Scottsville 10/23
#1
Russell County comes into Scottsville with a 4-4 record. They don't have a bad team this year. I think they are well coached and have some pretty decent wins on their schedule so far this year.

ACS will be playing their second home game in a row against a district opponent. They beat a decent Logan County team 40 to 20 in their last game. I'd like to see Brandon Boards play the way he did against Franklin-Simpson. Cooper needs to run the offense like he has been all year and the Patriots should continue to do well in the district. As always, I hope for an injury free game for both teams.

ACS - 48
Russell County - 20

There is my prediction. Good luck to both and go Patriots!

The Pats should have no problem defending home field in this game. Their undefeated season continues.

Good luck to both teams!

I should be there. I decided not go to the Shelby Valley/Prestonsburg game (although that will be a good game). Everyone still going to tailgate for this one?
#6
You better be there LOL. Yes, everyone is still tailgating as far as I know. I don't think it's supposed to rain as of right now. We need to start grilling out for our tailgating. ACS football is getting big, but we need to keep on making it bigger. The town is pumped about it, but not pumped enough! We need to get some people to join BGR and get pumped for ACS football! Sorry for my rant everyone....it had to be done though LOL.
#7
Come on guys, get us some more BGR members from Scottsville!

Were trying outdoorsman LOL.

AC - Scottsville will win by 3 touchdowns.

Glad to see that rant SvillePatriot. I agree too. We need more people involved.

I don't think ACS will have any problems whatsoever out of Russell County.

Best of luck to both!

Rain is supposed to come through Scottsville and actually most of Kentucky on Friday night, so everyone bring your umbrellas! I know one thing, won't keep me out at the house!

I think the rainy field will only be to Allen County's advantage. The running game should be just fine. Boards and York should have a field day on the Russell County defense. I wouldn't doubt if there were less than three pass attempts all game. Cooper isn't accurate to begin with, much less in the rain. Don't get me wrong though, Cooper is the most mobile quarterback maybe in all of 4A.

Another thing, Russell County's running game will have a tough time. Allen County's defense has only gave up 5 touchdowns all year. This game may be pretty one-sided and very ugly. You can never tell though, I thought the same thing about Logan County. Who knows though?
#14
I agree ACoPride. I think ACS will do a much better job than they did against Logan. Besides, Logan is a better team than Russell County. I'm pretty sure they beat Russell County like two games ago by 2 td's. Anyway, I think ACS will have a ton of yards on the ground in this game. I wouldn't be surprised if Boards, York, and Cooper all have around 150 yards rushing each.

I swear its rained just about every week this season. I'd rather see snow to be honest.

I know it BlackcatAlum, I'm about sick of it myself. Does Prestonsburg play on turf or grass?

By the way, to correct my earlier post, I said that ACS has only given up 5 touchdowns all season. I meant to say they have only given up 5 rushing touchdowns so far this season.

Forecast is looking good. Around 64 degrees and cloudy at game time. Cant wait for tonight!!

We play on grass. And the field is torn up because of the game against Morgan County and our middle school football team plays on the field also.

Good luck to ACS tonight!
