A lot depends on whether or not Amis plays for Perry Central. He's their do-it-all player. But if he doesn't play I'll take the Black Bears in a low scoring game.
Best of luck to both!

With Amis - Commodores win by two TD's.
Without Amis - Bears win by a TD.

I think that Amis is going to be able to play this game so i'm gonna say PCC wins this one 34-18.

Amis will be back and Perry takes it by a TD

I look for him to be back also. Kids a competitor, and unless they find something different in Lexington this Monday he'll be under center Friday night.

Perry by about 12

It sounds like Harlan County has no chance if Amis plays.
How big and strong is Perry up front?

Go Bears but I think the status of this game will depend on the health of Amis.

I'm going with the Black Bears whether Amis plays or not! Our "Filthy Animals" are really playing some D! What other weapons do they have

Amis is what makes those other weapons more effective. You take Amis out of the picture and Perry Central is easier to defend.

The Black Bears have one thing on their mind, "WIN". I am like Patriot, with or without Amis, Black Bears win it. It looks like this one will be wet, nasty, and cold. These Bears seem focused behind Larkey and will be up for the challenge. PCC had better expect to face a big heavy hitting defense who will be coming and coming hard. GO BLACK BEARS!!!!!!!

6ft8* 6ft4* 6ft3* 6ft4* and 5ft10* and there ends go anywhere from 6ft2 to 6ft4.

If it is cold and wet it will benefit Harlan County. It appears that Perry Central struggles in bad weather.

WOW this district is crazy i would like to see Harlan Co. win this one. Good Luck to both Teams

It upsets us the Harlan County faithful, that so many believe one player can beat us, but I wonder how those "other weapons" from Perry feel when they don't have a chance if he doesn't play??? Should be a good game as every other game in this district has been! Our defense not giving up too many Big plays is key to winning! That has haunted us in our losses!

Really if you are a cougar fan you want Perry Central to win this game. That way if we win out, we have the district title, and get Home playoff game at least two games depends on what the other side of the bracket does. I do think this will be a very good game.

Its good to control your own faith cougarpride! As a PCC Alum/Coach the thought of a home playoff game more than 5 years ago was unheard of, now its a possibility.
10-12-2009, 06:56 PM
I like Harlan County..Coach Larkey really has this team clicking at the right time right now!
10-12-2009, 08:41 PM
IF Amis is ready to play i expect him to slide more and avoid contact as much as possible. PCC should win this game if Amis plays and if not then Harlan will win. The game will be decided by 10 or less. As someone stated Harlan County is playing good at the right time. Also someone stated that PCC plays bad in bad weather. Sorry but thats wrong in a raining night at LCC PCC played very effective and the runningback could not be stopped on most plays. If Amis plays the next two games PCC should rest him the last game of the season to get him rested up for the playoffs.

Black Bears D are really turnin some heads, everyone had LCC destroying us but we really shut them out, should be a close one but
