Cake of a schedule? Middlesboro, Hazard, and Belfry in 3 of their first 4 games. You must be mistaken on who you're talking about.

LCC could slip right up on PCC! Iwatched them against Belfry, only a rookie safety's mistake cost them that game!

Shame on Letcher Central. They scheduled teams like South Laurel who has had a winning program the last few years. Middlesboro who has a state championship and has been a perennial winner until this year. Hazard who is ranked in the top ten in the state and coming off a trip to Louisville. Belfry who is in the top ten in the state, on the rise, and has two state championships in the last 6 years. Then you start district play with such "weak teams" such as Perry Central, Whitley County, Clay County, North Laurel, and Harlan County. Shame on you Coach Howard. You had a chance to play Casey County and Knott Central who are good at one thing. Losing. Or go down the Kentucky/West Virginia border and pick up one of those "powerhouse" teams that have so much "success" against the Kentucky programs. Finally you should have scheduled Breathitt instead of Belfry. Since 2002, Breathitt has won 0 state titles and been in the championship game once while Belfry has been in the championship game three times and won it twice. As fast as Belfry is rising to the top with young players, Breathitt is going down the toilet with a veteran team. Finally, with a lot of young inexperienced players at the varsity level, why didn't you play Trinity or St. Xavier. One more suggestion, next year instead of playing Belfry for homecoming. I know who you need to schedule. Jenkins. Get back to the old traditional way of scheduling homecoming games. I don't know though if Jenkins will play though as they are already playing in the toughest district in the state.

PCC out athletes LCC and wins 35-21.

PCC's defense is what has surprised me this season. They have shut the teams down they've played. I believe this will be a great team by 2 very good teams. The winner will be making a huge statement heading into the heart of their district schedules.

You had a chance to play Bell and wouldn't. It was scheduled for last week in the Appalachian Bowl. That is why they kick LCC out of the Bowl. ONB ask why he wouldn't play. You don't have to guess when it comes to Bell and Belfry they will be good.

And Bell Co. will not play Belfry, they try to schedule them every year and wont call back.Confusedhh:

Yes we passed on Belfry to play a weaker Alcoa. Anytime and any place.

As far as LCC you tested the waters with JV last year and now a freshmen game this year. Maybe your next coach will jump in the fray. I sure hope so.
#73
We will see the next two weeks what LCC is about. PCC and LCC are pretty close. PCC wins in a close one. Next week well that is a different story. We can wait till then to post.

Ok, how about the previous 3 years?
#75
If the clock was not continuiosdly run in the LCC and Bell JV game. LCC would have destroyed you instead of losing 14-12 at your field. You have not played LCC freshmen yet. Bell Co's program is not invinsible. I do not think you wish to schedule LCC varsity in the next couple years. If you do you better go over to TN. and get you some boys.

I don't know what this has to do with Bell County. Evidently Bell County thinks every thread must include them. I have no idea what you are even talking about nor do I care(sounds like the rantings of a caveman). Bell County is number one in the mountains in two categories: Football and obnoxious fans who meddle in threads that have nothing to do with them. This was a sarcastic post in response to comments from a few Perry Central fans. I know LCC's schedule is not the best in the mountains, I was just comparing it to Perry Central's.

You played our freshmen the other day. Was that your JV? We had much rather play LCC and all your district than go to TN. and play Alcoa and SD.
Please schedule us anytime.

The only good thing about football season ending is that all the obnoxious Bell County fans will climb back in their hole and not come back out until next football season because they stink at everything else. They might stick their heads out during baseball season every now and then but it shouldn't be very often.

Reality does sting for LCC. Is there another sport? We often look at it as Bear Bryant was quoted saying," There are three sports...Football...football recruiting and nascar." Talk to your coach and we will come up next year. We are really looking for games closer to home. HCC welcomed the game. 5A it shouldn't be a problem.

You better worry about the next two weeks instead of letting us get under your skin.

Easy now you don't want to open that can of worms. Bell would have loved to play LCC at Clay this season but LCC would have nothing to with it. Hence Bell and LCC on the outside looking in.

Bell would play Belfry and vise versa. The dates would not work out. I have heard Haywood and Hilton discuss it.

Windsprint,
I'd say LCC fans will act much better than what PCC acted like last year. Do you think they (PCC) act like that every week or just in the LCC game last year? Very bush league IMO.

I say LCC by 12.
#87
Maybe LCC should play Jenkins. Would that be making our "cake" schedule a little tougher? Bwahahahaha...

This is'nt about the fans and the only reason perrys fans acted like they did is because letchers assistant coaches were looking up and taunting the pep section

I am going to take Letcher County Central in this one cause it will be a shootout 56-49
