I think it all depends on who shows up to play and who wants it more. I don't know much about the Phelps team, but I do know that BL is lacking heart, drive and determination. If they play the way they did against Magoffin, then Phelps will win. On the other hand, if BL plays the way they did the first half against Jackson County, then BL will win. I am predicting BL to win by 8 (34 - 26).

what's wrong with a little hype?...do you expect any team to lack confidence in theirselves?...Betsy Layne is coming on...you don't just make the playoffs for the first time in school history and not come out with some hype....

and as for the same results...07-1st district win in ten years...08-1st playoff appearence in school history...09-name me the las time bl was sitting at a .500 record half way through the season...

The Bobcats need this one. This is a fight for fourth in the district, with ACHS, and the 2 PHS having 1st through 3rd locked up. Betsy Layne wins.

The bobcats should win this one. There return there players back from last year and phelps lost some good athletes. I gotta say that the bobcats have played a tougher schedule so far so I would say bobcats.

Phelps by 15? They beat a team that was 0-3 and a single A school. Come on now! Betsy Layne has beat East Ridge in scrimmage, Phelps lost. BL beat Burch Phelps didnt.

Phelps lost cause of the refs dude and everyone at that game know's it to..Phelps would of killed burch if it was not for the refs so there.And phelps will beat betsy layne this week:redboxer:

phelps has all there players from last year but 3 alex smith steven slone and seth bowling but phelps also has more players this year and are far more talented betsy layne will have 2 fight for this game but there playing the hornets during homecoming and they fight hard during homecoming i think this will be a great gamegood luck 2 both but Go Hornets

I'm pretty sure Betsy Layne beat Burch at Burch...BL had 23 penalties Burch had 4 penalties....BL had 3 touchdowns called back...end result BL wins by around 20...

seems like BL worked through the Adversity...don't gives us referee crap...
