Last year Bell went to Rock and beat them 38-0 and then again in the playoffs at Log Mountain and won 49-7. This game will be at Log Mountain in 2 weeks. Bell's D should show up again and keep Rock out of the endzone!! Hopefully Coach will turn lose Dominic Carton on offense along with Cory Davenport this game!!!!

Rockcastle will prepare for this game AFTER they play a talented Pulaski County team.
Rockcastle did not lose a whole lot of skill position from last year. They have developed a formidable passing attack and have a good balance of speed and power in the backfield.
They just need to put 4 quarters of football together. They totally dominated Lincoln for 3 quarters. They had an incredible 1st quarter against Boyle County.
With that said, I will wait until after the Pulaski County game to make an official prediction. It does scare me that Dudley Hilton has an off week to prepare for this game IN Log Mountain.

lwc, I just want you to know upfront no way shape or form am I putting down Rock with my score. I just think Bell's Defense right now is stout and have a off week before this game and its at Log Mountain. By the way since you have played Boyle Co at Boyle already how do they look right now. Beatable or not for us Bobcats fans in case we would meet Boyle come playoff time.

I think Tom L was crazy for leaving you guys!! He had built a powerhouse football team there. Wonder if he ever wished he had stayed there?

I did not look at the post as an insult. I am just saying that most Rock fans will wait a little while to post scores and do a lot of talking until the Rock-PC game is finished.
Boyle county is REALLY good. Coach French has those boys playing great football, but Rock played pretty even with them for the first quarter. McShara is an UNBELIEVABLE talent! After the PC and Bell games, I will give you a fair answer as to I think is the better team, is that fair?
I don't think Tom regrets losing. I think Tom wanted to go out on his own terms and take on a new challenge. Tom's legacy will always be having a consistently great team year in and year out. 26 straight winning seasons and I venture to say that includes almost all those years having a playoff appearance.
I believe that Tom wishes Tony Saylor would have gone with him :1: Rock got lucky because we hired a good coach and I belive a good Coach Poynter at Bourbon (formerly at Trimble county) was next in line for the job. Because of the job that Larkey and Saylor did at Rock, we will have a great program for many years to come.

I think Bell will win this one pretty convincingly also. 41-8

He does not regret it b/c he now has a pocket full of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
Rock is Rock they will play great defense and play really hard, but they can't stand up to Bell. Who is the go to RB for Rock this year?

I sure was glad when Marty Regan was gone from Rock. That kid could flat out run the ball.

I respect Rock! They are like Bell, they win with a smashmouth game, they have alot of pride, and I don't think that it will be as easy as every one thinks. Bell 12 Rock 0 (IMO)

Clark Rowe and John L Saylor split the carries this year. Both have had a good season since Bell.
As we were glad when Shawn Robbins graduated

Classic rivalry game here. The atmosphere will be loud and electric. I doubt the game will be close, but this game is always a great one to attend in terms of good football environment. Here is my prediction score:
Bell County - 49
Rockcastle County - 14
Good luck to both teams!
