I don't remember seeing a single poster mention Maynard was going to miss the game prior to kickoff, nor had I seena single fan blame this loss on not having him. I am sure that had DeMartino missed the game any Ashland fan who was unable to attend would have loved to known that he didn't play ad why, would you agree?

As for Carter, from what I heard from all of the Ashland fans his departure was actually a positive for this team. You can't make excuses why it helps your team one week and then make excuses why it hurt your team the very next.

I would strongly suggest instead of being critical of the poster and trying to stir the pot in a negative manner, it would really help improve everyone's view of you and your community if you took a few notes. Ashland is a first rate program, but the message of several posts of yours on this thread could easily tarnish that image for people trying to learn more about the Tomcats.

Well said EKU.

Congrats to both teams on a game well played. It was easy to see that Belfry was battle tested, even so early in the season. T-Cats needed to play a full game against a good team before playing Russell and Ironton. In my years of following Ashland this was my first trip to the CAM and it's a great facility and atmosphere for football.

i said before season started that he needed to be at full back

badcat, do you play for alsand? or sit or stand on the sideline?or maybe in the stands,i usally dont say anything to anyone, but you are going to make it hard for yourself on here, glad theres not alot of people on here from asland that get on here and act like you,are you like that at school? where you dont have any friends?just wondering, those who dont have friends more times than not like to cause trouble,so they can feel like somebody, well i hope you can change your attitude, because that will be a long life, living that that,i wish you and asland the best...

Man you guys are to easy, lighten up all I did was point out someone kept bringing up that a certain kid didn't play an how the game would have been alot different. I understand that this kid is a good player, an could have helped them but when you lose an then make those same points sounds like you are taking something awY from a quality win from Ashland. Like it or don't like it that's my opinion. Just for the record I always did think belfry had a quality program.

Funny how a loss to ashland, makes people think they have a down year...or the outcome would have been different if.....
