I was wondering after watching him last year and this year, how come no one is really talking about him. He has switched from the tailback position last year, and he still plays that this year some but most from the fullback position. He is a big kid but very fast. He is 6'1 225 lbs, heck of a athlete already has 6 td's in 2 games and runs the ball very hard as do all the Lawrence County backs, in my opinion Lawrence County may have one of the best backfields in the mountains this year.

And thats his punting . He has been one of the best punter's in the state for the past 3 years now. So don't forget that and yes he's a very good running back also. Good luck to him at the next level weather it's on the grid iron or the diamond because this kid can play some good base ball also.

Yeah I know he can punt I believe he had a 55 yd punt in the game Friday, very strong kid with power and speed. He's a very good baseball player also at first base.

Good to hear this, We all know im From Shelby Valley and Valley and Lawrence County Plays each other very soon, in my opinion i think we (shelby Valley) have the best backfield in the moutains, and in your opinion you all have the best backfield.! It should be a great matchup, and the only way we can find out is add up the stats in a couple weeks .

I think Lawernce county has 8 guys that could step in there and run the ball and have success.

Just have to lace them up in a couple of weeks and let the backfields speak for themselves.

IMO thats why LC is doing good right now this is the first time in a long time they have been playing as a team and thats how they will keep on winning play as a team when as a team.I know you are talking about backs and wide outs but I had to mention the big guys they are always in the trinches doing the dirty work with little reconition. He has had like 31 carries for 272 yards and 6 TDS. He only had 9 carries for around 136 and 3 TDS and of course this past game of 22 carries for 136 and 3 TDS.
He is avg like 8.8 yards a carry. We have only punted a couple of times this year.. Last year he had an 60 or 65 yard punt against Breathitt County...

I dont think colleges would try to get him to carry the ball but they would love to have him as a punter. I know marshall is looking at him as a punter. He is a first class kid!!!

This whole team is doing a great job right now, I wasn't trying to say one kid is better than another or anything like that. They win as a team, and lose as a team. I know the offensive line is doing a good job, because if they weren't we wouln't be moving the ball like that. I think the center to quarterback exchange is great, if I'm not mistaken have we had any fumbles because of that this year? anyone care to help me out with that? I think that everyone is so excited and rightfully so, these kids and coaches have put in a lot of time and hard work, and its starting to pay off. I'm so proud of all of them, and coaches you guys are doing a great job. Scott Randall I know you read this, this team wouldn't make it without you and Fred, you guys have put in the most time and the field looked awesome Friday night. Keep it up.

Me and his brother in law are good friends and he told me the other day that LSU has called him and Marshall is recruiting him pretty heavy! He's ranked number 23 punter in the nation, check him out on prokicker.com

This thread isn't about Lawrence and Valley, but we appreciate everyone's thoughts and comments. I haven't seen Valley's backfield or anyone else's around for that matter, but I'm that confident I would put Lawrence there with anyone.

Everyone knows that SV got beat and LC played good. Now can our fans start taking this win with some class?
