As soon as this young team realizes they have to give 100% the whole game JC will be fine. Take 5 starters from Bell's team see how well they do.

Congratulations to Bell. They made all the adjustments they needed to. JC is a good team, the people that are writing them off really need to understand the level of play from Bell and Boyle is so high that NOONE is Eastern KY can stay with them. JC will be fine. Just give them some time.

Just got back from the game. JC congrats on hanging with the Bobcats the first half. Bell just keeps improving every week. All the new players in there new positions are getting comfortable.

I would love to had Cody Marcum and Dominic Carton playing tonight. Both will be back against a VERY GOOD Whitley Co team next week.

Penalties killed Bell Co the first half. They had like 40 yards in penalties. The 50 yard TD catch to Cody Davenport was awesome. Our QB Ben Madon has a awesome arm behind him and he just keeps getting better and better each week! Cory Davenports long TD run with time expiring before halftime was also a great play.

It was after 1:45 befor we got home lastnight,, I have to say "WHAT A DRIVE"....J.C has got great facilities 4 sure, it was a looong trip back home but we loved it..... Good luck J.C the rest of the yr!!!!!!!!:rockon:

Congrats to Bell Co. JC could very well only win 1 game this year. But in their defense, they are in a rebuilding year and they have a very very tough schedule. I sure wouldn't want their schedule with the team that they have this year (not that it is a bad team, just not quiet on the level as the other teams on their schedule). To bad this game couldn't have been played regularly the past several years. Anyway, good luck to both the rest of the season.

i say we jsut stop argueing about players being out..it happends nothing can change the score now....bell played a great game it sould have been a a 36 0 game but a blown assingment opened a hole and there went the j.c qb who mabe a few vcut backs and was gone...the cory davenport is sopmeone to watch this kid is crazy fast and elusive and has great vision...the play b4 the end of the half was just amazing boucned out 2 tacklers and juked and spon off another cut across the feild and outran everyone

If they dont step it up, they could be 1-5 or 0-6 headin into the district games.

Just be lucky Bell didnt hurry up and score and get the ball back and score again before the game was over with. Dudley took it easy on Matney in the 2nd half.

I wouldn't care if they did hurry and score as long as it was a TD ,but it was not...and for the ones saying stop making excuses for our missed players...I never once said we would of beat bell with them 5...what i said was...take 5 of bells players out and see how they do....Now, with all that being said, there wouldn't be so much b.s. on here if people would quit turning others words around....how hard is that?
Personally, I would of loved to see Bell play JC the last few years. Heck, I enjoyed watching JC play Bell last night, when they play better teams this early it's only going to make them stronger in the end...so i say hold them heads up JC . We have work to do.....ohhh and as far as Dudley goes..and this is my opinion only here so dont go blaming all of Jhonson County for this remark...He showed exactly what a class act coach was when he went for the 2 on that TD that he did not rightfully get...

What did you want Dudley to do at the end of the game with time left take a knee on a extra point? Bell Co has no PAT kicker, so they have to go for 2's.

I'm gonna have to agree with the Bell fans on this one. Dudley DID take it pretty easy on us in the fourth. He basically ran fullback dive about every play. And we still couldn't tackle him until he was five or ten yards downfield. If you watched the kid attempt the PAT that Bell did try, you understand why they didn't bother trying it again.

I think the JC kids played a great game, and can hold there heads HIGH. Any time you lose a player or 4 it makes it hard to play at the highest level. Bell had 2 starters on the O-line out, and it made a big difference for us running the ball. I will say by the time the season is over John Dudley will be kicking 30yrd field goals or better, but until then looks like 2 points is the way to go.

I've seen both teams play now, and I would give the edge to Boyle by a couple TD's right now. It's still early and both teams are still working on things. We'll have to wait until post season to find out. I hope Bell would win this game if it comes to be, always a mountain football fan. Good luck on your remaining season. Bring another title back to the mountains.
