Bell Co. 32 Harlan Co. 6 (Freshman)
#1
The freshman Cats went to Harlan Co. and had a dominating performance. The dynamic duo of Collett and Polly both had over 100 yards rushing. Bell was led on defense by Warwick, Saylor, and Hoskins. Good win for the young CATS.

Not an excuse but just a reminder to HC fans, two freshmen did not play because they are starting vasity Friday night. Another is sick who is close to getting some varsity time and the starting safety broke his collarbone at practice Thursday. Good performance by Bell. Not taking anything away, just some reassurance to HC fans that the bottom is not dropping out.

No need for a excuse, IMO they would not have made much difference. Bell pretty much shut it down in the 4th quarter so the score could have been worse.

That tends to happen a lot in Freshman games players getting held out.

Also keep in mind Bell was without Osolonian who did not play in this game at QB/FS b/c he will be seeing time on friday night and has nagging ankle problem.

I thought Harlan Co. had a "great" 9th grade class??? Or atleast that is what they said last year about them as 8th graders???

Good win for Bell. Looks like they have some very talented young backs coming up.

Exactly, in your opinion.
