I knew it would be screwed up, but didn't exactly expect ALL of this to happen. Not just the fact that Duke only dropped 2 spots to #4, but Kansas jumped from #6 to #3. Boston College also leaped Kentucky and are ranked #5.

How did BC skip UK, I guess because of that killer W they had against Providence.

Yessir, that looks a little better.

WHAT!!! Duke ranked out of the top 5!! I think it's a typo

How in the hell is BC ranked ahead of KY.. Have they even beat a half way descent team?
02-01-2005, 06:13 PM
BC is 18-0, I guess thats the only reason.

I don't agree with the AP but who cares. As long as UK stays in the top 8 and continues to improve they'll get a 1 or 2 in the tourney and that's what counts.
02-02-2005, 08:20 PM
i think BC and Syracuse are ranked too high
02-02-2005, 09:44 PM
who has BC beat? who has Kentucky beat? Louisville? big deal, we came back down sixteen because we wanted it more...this kentucky team, as much as i hate to say it isn't that good...we jack around the whole first half and often have to play catch up to get back...the sec isnt all that great this year and with close wins against mississippi and arkansas im nervous...we lost to kansas at rupp when they didnt have their best player.. i tell ya UK will not end their final four drought this year, no sir. a top ten team? yes...top five? they havent showed me that much yet, because if u look...weve lost to two of the top five and thats all weve played
02-02-2005, 11:58 PM
Does the close loss to the best team in the nation, IMO, at Chapel Hill count for anything?
02-03-2005, 12:48 PM
Apparently not. But I kinda agree with where he's coming from. UK's not all that great of a team, but seem to hang in there like a hair in a biscuit. The SEC is weak this year and with UK only winning by 1 or 2 points kinda bothers me. I guess they're like Shelby Valley. They play good in the games they need to (ie Kansas, UNC), and only edge out teams like Arkansas, and Ole Miss. Ah if they can beat the top ranked teams and lose to lower seeds then I'm all for that. LOL. Thing is they can't beat a top ranked team. Give them a couple years though and they will be tough.
