With this loss and the win over Shelby Valley by Prestonsburg, Pike Central has been eliminated from the playoffs. Hopefully, Coach Mac will have alot of talent returning next season on Buckley's Creek.

i was there and the weather was horrible. there was rain by the buckets, lightning and the power went out so we were delayed alot the game wasnt over unto about 11:00

Nasty, somethin like 3 or 4 lightning delays and then the lights went off at half time setting the game back another 40min. It was all said and done at around 11:30 with about 5in of mun and water on the sidelines.

Good Win Cards. I have alot of respect for P.C they have a good team that Varney kid ran a 70 yard touchdown. I see things turning around for P.C in the futre they got good players and a very good coaching staff in my book who is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Hope the best for the Hawks in the future.

It was a mess.....nonstop lightning and rain. Central caused a fumble with the score 21-7 inside the 30, but couldnt capitalize. They also had the ball in a similar position with the same score, but again could not get it done. They are young and should improve with some leadership.
