That'd be even better if it talked more about the best player on the team...Darryl Hicks is an absolute stud and is going to be as high major as you can get.

Any word on how KY Elite did?

I talked with Hicks late last night and he said that he had a great time with a lot of D-1 college coaches watching their team play.... Hicks said that he is receiving a lot of interest from Xavier, Missouri, Cincinnati, but ultimately his dream school is Duke.....

Darryl is suppose to be an incoming high school freshman at Shelby County, but word on the street is he will be attending North Oldham High School this upcoming school year...

This is certainly pretty cool that we had a KY team win this. Looks like the beginning of a lot more championships for the state of KENTUCKY:Cheerlead

Hicks should have the opportunity to play at whatever school he wants. I think it will be really tough to get him out of Kentucky though unless his dream school comes calling (which they very well may).

UK and Louisville will be doing everything they possibly can to keep this kid local.

Yes, he was their leading scorer out there I believe and logged a ton of minutes for Shelby Co last season. I wasnt aware he was getting that many D-1 looks though at thhis age, thanks for the info.

Hicks is a good player and has lots of potential, but everyone is misinformed on this site. Hicks didnt play well at all in that tournament and failed to deliver for his team, i think that is y he wasnt the MVP, and not sure he had 27 points either. Just an FYI,

I confused his Vegas performance with Jason Hatcher's, sorry. Thanks for the correction.

I wasn't in Vegas but regardless... The kid is an absolute stud.
