Headed to Paintsville lake today. Got on the water at around 2:30p.m. Caught 3 Bass and a couple Blue-gill. Caught 1 of the Bass of a Black & Purple worn. The, caught the rest of the fish on a Night-Crawler.

Wow rough day...I went to paintsville and got tired of catching fish...OVER 100 fish...anyway Saturday...and quick trip as to how it is 2:52p.m.
I went to Dewey today and caught 22 bass and 4 bluegill....no keepers but all was decent fish....caught them on ***** worms....and a hook.....great day though...water temp was 75-77....

Trick worms, Buzzbait, Spook, Torpedo, Tubes, anything pretty much...Hey listen Paintsville is a great Lake dont let anyone tell you different...It is all about LOCATION...what part of the lake you are on....I will PM you and let you know the area I am talking about...Like I said though small ones in the slot or below, but plenty of numbers....

panitsville lake june 13th night fishing....12 bass on worms....all around 10-12 inches...caught in Glade branch and Cane branch...alot of fun....

July 3, 2009.

Went to Dewey Lake. Caught 4 Bass. To really nice bass. One almost 17inchs. Caught the fish on a Black/Purple worm.

Water temperature was about 78 degrees.

Was the water muddy or dingy or murky or what....I went and decided not to fish it about 2 weekd ago and went on to paintsville...I think that the water temp cooling down hurt the fishing SOME

Not bad I was there too....I fished about 2 hrs and it lightned and stuff and got off the water...It was raining when I got there and talked to someboys that done good and some where just going out like me....

July 18, 2009.

Headed out to Dewey Lake. Caught about 10 Bass. No keepers. Caught some fish on Crank Baits and then some on Worms.

Fished Tourney at Dewey Thursday, july 16th....from 6 to ten....me and my buddy caught several just know keepers....10.03 won though with 4 fish...
Bif fish was 5.07 and it was not the one with four....

July 23 fished tourney at Dewey again...From 6 to 10....Me and my buddy caught several fish an dactually alot more than anyone else but no big ones...9.13 one and big fish was 3.13...4 fish was what it took..Me and my buddy went out after weigh in...caugh 9 more one a bait...not saying what on....alot of fun though...

Went to Dewey the 27th...caught 3 keepers, but thats was a bad day...I saw a carp so I played w worm in front of it...well it grabbed it...so I was going to break my line but it broke my pole that was about 100-120$..then I was so mad that I went for a boat ride...lost my hat and sunglasses then...wait thats not all i was fishing my favorite place on the lake and bumped the trolling motor to the right a little bit, and the prop went flying a cross the water....and lost it...lol we caught nine and had a good time besides all though

Wow good and bad day...the number of fish wasnt worth your pole though was it:biggrin:

Lots of garbage on fishtrap this past saturday. went up in the evening, and pulled in one 10-12in' catfish, nothing to write home about. But that was shortly before the monsoon hit. I was fishing in jonican.
