Estill County 2009/10

thoughts about the upcoming season for the Engineers? they lose Tristan Cackling, Chris Hoover, Chris Coffey, Tyler Walling, Trent Singleton, Justin Covey, David Crowe, Trey Wiseman, they return Kenton Roberts, Cade Berryman, Riley Birchfield, Randy Davidson, Tyler Williams and others. i think they have the talent to get to the Districts and Win! i think the Engineers will suprise alot of people that say they can do it or anything. Engineers went 13-15, lost 1st RD Region Wolfe County 75-73.

Changes to the Estill County Schedule.

Dec. 11th - Model (@ Berea) Berea Invitational 7:30 pm

the game with Willamsburg has been moved to Feb. 6th instead of Dec. 29.

Oneida Baptist Institute takes the place of Evangel Christian (@ Riverside Christian) Riverside Invitational

This a great oppornity for Estill County this season. They have a great group of talent in their junior class with returning starter and excellent defender Kenton Roberts, 5'10 point guard cade berryman, 6'5 Riley Birchfield who not only plays inside but is also a very good shooter when he gets going, 6'5 Matthew Abernathy, he is very athletic and will provide a good contribution with his rebounding and put backs. And also some people don't know about estill's newest member of the team, a 6'9 junior who is improving every day. Estill county has nothing expected of them this year, so they don't have any pressure. They work hard and you never know what could happen in the 14th this season. Good Luck this year boys.

i didn't know we had a new player. whats his name and what position does he play????

His name is Devan Doty, he is a 6'9 junior who plays center. He will bring a great presence on the inside when it comes to blocked shots, rebounding, and contesting shots. Great fit for the young Engineers.
