As of 6:00 today

Knott County defeated Hazard
Pike Co. Central beat Owsley County
June Buchanan over Allison Co.

SV over Bath and Scott County yesterday and GRC today. They also played Henry Clay later tonight, but I never heard the results of that one.

I watched a little of the KCC, Harlen, LCC, got beat by Breathitt, they just didn't hustle, then they beat Owsley.

LCC is 5 & 3 this week. Wins over Buckhorn, Cordia, Pike Central and Owsley twice.

They have losses to Hazard, Breathitt & Whitley.

This is without their new Coach. Last year's Freshmen Coach "Winston Lee" along with Keith Baker have filled in until Hammonds gets out of school in Jessamine County.

Don't put too much into summer ball. Many times a team will have players missing. Some coaches use this time to use different combinations, to replace what has left due to graduation, and get a feel of what the team needs so work on. Some games are played by quarters, and then a new rotation put in. Summer ball in most cases is NOT a true game situtation, and the score really holds little value. The value of summer ball is to see what combinations work, to improve players and to get players and coaching staff prepared for the upcoming season.

Letcher beat Buckhorn by just a few points in the 6 pm game.
Knott beat JBS by around 15-20 points in the 7 pm game.
Knott beat Letcher in the last game 52-38.

Yeah, I been there all week, LCC is not passing the ball around enough,but I think we will be alright,if they will all work hard...

GRC played at Lexington Catholic today. They played Catholic first, and then Lincoln Co. Brewer, Daniels and Zollo really looked good today. JV played mostly against Lincoln co.

Agreed but Russells Tanner Alexander has been missing, dont know what the deal is but going to be a senior needs to be there to help develop younger players. If a kid doesnt wanan work then get of the team and just run cross country. Other seniors are there working hard trying to be a role model.

Is there going to be one at LCC gym? Will not get a chance to meet the new coach until next week.
