I remember this kid a few years ago and had forgot all about him!! Be interesting to see how he does after high school!! What position do the scouts see him playing at the next level? Catcher, pitcher, or both? Looks like he has options!!

I would guess that with that kind of power he would be used as a catcher. The 96 MPH is impressive , but at the major league level there is more to pitching than just throwing hard.

Also at that level it would be impossible to catch and pitch both. Nobody would be able to withstand sthat.

Some of those shots he hit were unbelieveable....has a very bright future ahead of him. I could see him catching or moving somewhere in the outfield at the next level...by next level I mean being drafted, no college in this kid's future.

I knocked several bombs like the ones that you have seen during my time as a professional sandlot player. The kid has talent has serious talent. I just hope that he stays away from the wrong crowd, stay strong with his family, in his faith, and the sky is the limit. Hopefully the coaches don't try to over work the guy and he has an injury free career.
