#1
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis was unable to find proof a former player cheated on his SAT exam in its internal investigation of NCAA allegations against the men's basketball team.

In other words, the following conclusions can be made:
1. This was all a witch hunt based on erroneous information and the NCAA owes some big apologies to Memphis.

2. Memphis is doing everything to prolong this and fight it, in hopes they can escape punishment or have it just disappear like Duke did with the whole Corey Maggette situation some years back.

3. If this ends up being nothing at all then several media members, especially one high profile one from Jefferson County, owes some MAJOR apologies.

The "Open Letter"? HAHA

Tipton also proved he was ready to win a Pullitzer when he interviewed the collumnist from the Memphis Commercial Appeal after his wonderful literary work of art.

All this means is Memphis has reportedly found nothing...... That is not an indication that there was no wrongdoing. the NCAA is continuing it's investigation, thus there is still more to come before we can say there was no wrongdoing.....

They will have to keep digging if they want to find something. It is going to be hard to gather evidence. I do agree that it is a witch hunt.

Mark Story is a joke. Why is he so against John Calipari, we will never know.

Another UK downer looking for wrongdoing to tie the UK coach into the mix.

I don't think Memphis knew about it. That is if it's true. If it is then its the NCAA's fault cause they cleared him.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe that the NCAA's investigation into Memphis is over. They have uncovered quiet a few violations against the women's golf team, they found two infractions against the Men's Basketball Team and nothing else was found within the program.

Memphis self reported a secondary violation going back into the 2005 football program, if you read the response to the NCAA it states those things.

The NCAA has finished it's investigation of Memphis.

what more investigating are they doing? They still will interview coach cal.
