Russ Swim and Jason Baber are returning to the Engineers as Assistant Coaches. i just read a article in the local newspaper.

heres the title and article:

" Coach Jones is back at Estill"

"Estill High Principal Blain Click said last week that the door to hiring a football coach is wide open. Tuesday former coach Mike Jones stepped through the door. In a statement Tuesday afternoon Click made the following mark "after careful consideration, the Estill County High School Site Based Decision Making Council has decided to re-hire Mike Jones as head football coach" "Jones had resigned in january at the end of one of the best seasons the school has ever had. he had coached the Engineers for eight years. The Search was on for a new coach and soon John Luttrell, a former cawood high school coach was hired, He never go to take his position however, as health concerns forced his resignation by late april. The Position was re-advertised and applications were accepted. Cl;ick said that after alot of discussion with the players and parents and a thorough review of all the candidates, the council decided the best option was to re-hire Jones. Mr. Jones has accepted the position based on several undisclosed terms and conditions and will begin his assignment immediately," Click explained. "Russ Swim and Jason Baber will return in their former positions as assistant coaches"

That was an 0-10 Estill team, and one heck of an atmosphere, would like to see it happen.

i was told just a little while ago that the reason Estill hired Coach Jones back was bc the players went to the AD and the Principal and told them that if they didnt hire Jones back that they wasnt gonna play. so they hired Jones back and im pretty sure that there was more reasons that they hired Jones back. im glad that they did hire him back bc he is a tremendous coach and there was no one better than him, that they could hire

we have Kenton Roberts coming back as a RB and we have a couple sophmore's-to-be that can really run the ball good.

Its hard to win at a small school like Estill, but year in and year out Coach Jones sticks with what he knows and pushes the youngmen to be successful, not only on the field but in life.

idk, ive heard that he resigned to spend time with his kids, but if that was so then y would he wanna come back and coach? i heard that he resigned bc he got caught messing around with a girl, which the girl is my age, i saw them togeather not too long ago at the Richmond Wal-Mart. but i know one thing i am sure glad that coach Jones is back!!!!!

i just heard earlier today that Randy Davidson might now be on the Engineers roster bc apprantley coach jones made randy mad and randy walked out, so who knows
