Over here in Breathitt, the roads 30, 476 are pretty much useless. Its nuts to see things like this happen. Everyone over this way is pulling together to help the people along these roads rebuid and clean up. Thats whats great about this part of the country, when someone is in need, people from all around will help.

I live in maytown and it did some major damage. Got in my basement and liked 3 steps from getting in the top of my house. Been walking around the town trying to help others who got it bad as well, it is just a disaster down here.

Over here in Owsley county it is a complete wreck in the Lerose community. Most of the place was destroyed along with many places on rt.708. Breathitt took a beating in alot of places also, rt.30 west was one of the saddest sights i have ever seen in my life. Hopefully eveyone will pull together and come through all this.

I guess I was one of the lucky ones to notget hit by this flood. I didn't think it had rained enough to cause all the damage it has caused. I guess it was over saturation of the rain over the short period of time. Every one is in my prayers.

This is some Flooding that happened in Turkey Creek.
The one picture that is kinda dark is a tree that feel behind my uncle home, and it was about one inch from hitting the home.
It was some scary stuff!

I hope all families involved find some relief from this. I really feel for people that have been affected by this.
Bad news is that we could see a similar setup to the rain and storms starting tomorrow and lasting through Tuesday of next week.
