Everyone over here cares except our ******* super. She has royally ****** up the ball team and she knows it. She should have stayed in Letcher County. I believe that now after all this time, King or Trent will be the coach. She has waited too long and besides I think she wanted her family in there anyway. It will either be one of those two or the first idiot with a teaching certificate that comes along. Thank you KIM KING for the big **** up.

Woods and Hicks just used Knott to get some more attention, both have been known to show interest elsewhere for whatever reasons and go right back. I think they just like the attention if you asked me. Just to see if they could of gotten it if they would of wanted it. I still believe this will be a job for someone right here in Knott County. Trent I'm sure is waiting around for the Letcher job, but I'm afraid he may be waiting for nothing, they want someone with experience over their and have heard Strange and Jackson's names for that one. If Knott was offered to him I'm sure he would of accepted already. Dragging this out way too long.

Jamie Couch's name has surfaced as a two sport coach for KCC. Basketball and Baseball would be fun for him! Due to budget cuts, they may end up not hiring anyone and letting Coach Couch do double duty. I think he would do a wonderful job with these boys, just like he has with the baseball team.

Seriously? There is no way that he can handle both. Too much drama and too much politics. Yea he has done great things with the baseball team, weak schedule aside, but he can't coach basketball. Sorry, just the truth. And the first one that says he coached his sons basketball team and they won is an idiot. Anyone can coach a biddy league team. Heck, my grandmother can coach a biddy league team.

I have not stated on here on time that I would be a great coach and that I know everything about basketball. What I do know is that the politics in Knott is getting to be too much. I hope the parents will realize this and get rid of these dumb:moon: . They are hurting more than helping.

I am trying to be positive. the job was filled 221 posts ago. It is common knowledge that BB King (Coaching experience?????) will be coach. Is it legal?? Yep. Is it ethical???? I read on another website that Assistants would be Kevin Davis, Jim Rose, Jim Cox and Cavenaugh Trent with Trent taking over the reigns next year. Will the Pats survive the 14th and defeat PCC and Hazard???? It all comes down to coaching strategy. Enough said.. Please respond or else accept BB and move on..

Who would want to come to this circus now anyways? they will have to get someone from Knott now, only ones that would even touch this job! She has destroyed Knott County. Can't believe it has taken this long to make a decision. Now that Letcher is showing around Coach Hammonds from West Jessamine, maybe they may go ahead and hire him so that Knott can go ahead and Hire Trent if they are going too. I think she was being nice and waiting to see if he got the Letcher job first. Who knows????????

DEWEY MOSLEY, they said he would be willing to coach this team and thinks he could do a great job with them like all his other coaching jobs. Always was a winner with his teams. And if he don't want it, I don't know why they wouldn't ask the long time Coach at Hindman Elem to coach, talk about experience, now that man can coach. It's not like there is a shortage of good coaches in Knott County, it's the fact that Mrs. King won't pick one of them. I don't think anyone cares who in the world it is by now, just name these kids a coach already.

While Dewey is a great photographer, and a little worse when it comes to reporting on the sports, and he did coach some AAU or Pee Wee teams. That doesn't make him qualified. I've seen him coach. Too emotional. Probably get a starting spot for his kid, though.
Come on people, the Hindman Elementary coach? It's a done deal that someone will coach this team. Will it be B.B. or Trent? Who knows at this point. All I know is that KCC will do far worse because of this so called circus that King has put forth. Instead of being the ring leader she should be the bearded lady.

Have heard that former Alice Lloyd coach David Adams is interested in this job. He has resigned as coach of the girls at ALC and still wants to stay in coaching. Sounds like they have a good coach finally in place, now they just need to pull the trigger and hire him.

I think that you are right in that alot of kids would want Amburgey back. He won 22 games last year but she has made a decision to not bring him back and I guess she had her reasons. WHO KNOWS ? But it is time to move forward. I think that too many people make decisions as far as Knott Co basketball. Too may people have input and most of them are only concerned for themselves.

He coached the girls and boys and made disasters of both. His first year at KCC with the boys was the 1st time ever that the boys did not go to region.

David Adams wasnt even a good grade school coach when he coached at RW Combs. If you cant coach college girls you sure cant coach high school boys. Alice Lloyd College was a perfect fit for David because they could care less about girls basketball over there.

Another week and still no coach, meanwhile Justin is recruiting Knott players to Pike Central. Other schools are inviting Knott players to come join them for open gym because Knott aint having it. Heard somebody say today this was like a three ring circus with a different clown in each ring. Anyone care to identify the clowns?
