#31
He is a lot better than any player around here!! besides a majority of the kids who play in the Morton Combs Athletic Complex!!

Also says Valley would be #1 in state and Top 20 nationally with Knipp.

Umm, LMAO, sorry, but no.

1. Vinny Zollo (photo), Clark County, 6-8: He's already committed to Kentucky and moved to Winchester from Ohio in the offseason.
2. Robbie Stenzel, Clark County, 6-4: I saw Stenzel last winter and was thinking about putting him ahead of Kimbro; he's a lot of fun to watch.
3. Jordan Shanklin, Warren Central, 5-11: One of two talented teammates; Shanklin is already getting a lot of looks.
4. George Fant, Warren Central, 6-6: A little more imrpovement and maturity and we could be talking about top 100 nationally with Fant.
5. Timmy Knipp, Elliott County, 6-7: Extremely athletic for a big guy.
Josh Stroud, Fairdale, 6-4.
Marcellus Barksdale, Tates Creek, 6-2.
Jake McClanhan, East Ridge, 6-7.
Josh Forrest, Paducah Tilghman, 6-4.
Remy Abell, Eastern, 6-2.
Ryan Fucci, Tates Creek, 5-11.
Trey Williams, Greenup County, 6-6.
Leonard Smith, Fulton City, 6-4.
Donovan Kates, Christian County, 6-5.
Treg Setty, Mason County, 6-4.

Koty Riley from Lewis County doesn't make this list?
#37
Maybe he won't transfer.
#38
I loved watching Knipp play in the All-star game, very talented young man.

Or Terrance Smith.

Timmy can be very good if he wants to be....he seems to be very lazy in the games I watched him
#41
Knipp, possibly could move dont see much talent left in elliot besides him..
#42
Timmy Knipp is a big man and loves to shoot 3's. There's nothing wrong with that considering him hitting the buzzer beater against Valley. But, he does get a little lazy. If he would play to his FULL potential he would be alot better than he is now.
#43
i heard Knipp was goin to Lawrence County

We also heard he was going to Valley and other schools. Just a rumor. Nobody really knows if he is transferring. Only one that knows is Timmy Knipp himself.
#45
I heard today, his dad was offered a good job in Hazard

When did he hit a "buzzer beater" against Valley? EC won by 4 in 08 in Lexington, and 6 this past year.
#47
Just got the word from someone that saw a car at Hazard High today with Elliot Co. tags.
#48
Heard Knipp was playing at open gym in Hazard tonight.

EC beat Sv by 13 in 07 in rupp, They didn't play in 08.

Yes,sorry, I was looking at EC vs Mason. At any rate, there hasn't been a Timmy Knipp "buzzer beater" against SV. There hasn't been a game that EC has won that took a buzzer beater against them.
#51
He may transfer!

To where? I've heard GRC seems like s possibility given that his mother, I believe, lives in that area.

Down in the state tournament. It was either going into the 2nd quarter or going into the 4th.
#54
We'll see where he ends up!
#55
I'll bet he stays at Elliott...

Timmy may very well transfer, but I'll bet big money it isn't to Hazard or Valley. Kids with his upside don't transfer into the 14th or 15th Regions, Sorry. If, and I repeat If he transfers, and leaves the 16th. GRC, or Warren Central. You can take that to the bank.

Exactly. If he goes anyplace you can bet they will be a bigtime program.

Did Knipp show up for the open gym in Hazard

Don't think it will be GRC, he is good , but would not start over Zollo, Purvis or Rogers. Can't see him going to a school he would not start. Could be Warren Central as he plays AAU with Fant and Shanklin.
