The Kentucky Christian University Lady Knights basketball team has won the NCCAA Division II National Championship for the 12th time since 1989. KCU defeated Southwestern Christian University of Bethany, Oklahoma 70 to 62 Saturday in Grayson, Kentucky.
The twelve national championships mark a new record for national titles at any level. The KCU men have also won seven NCCAA II titles.

Midway between Ashland and Morehead. The campus borders I-64 at the Grayson exit. Hopefully, someday you will see a nice big football stadium right next to the interstate.
