Well, all except for that delicious little victory in the semifinal round that obviously still eats at you to this very day!
Then why do you constantly do it for then? And always ride bighogg for pointing out simple facts.

More Cowbell Wrote:Ah yes, the famous "ranked wins" that Elliott has to brag about this year. Bet they look real nice in the trophy case...
Tell you what, you can keep those "ranked wins", and Valley can just keep that big, shiny trophy they got for winning that All-A Classic thingy. What's more, I hear they had to beat some other really good team in the semi's on their way to winning the title!
I hope they meet in the second round one will have the all A classic trophy to look at and the other will be moving on after the biggest trophy.

Knowing every student means more money to the school. To me, this post is saying that SV give up roughly 20k or so so they can be in tourney?

I think schools like SV report their enrollment accurately to the KDE through their attendance computer systems so they get all the pupil $ per student they can. I also think they "massage" the numbers and cheat like hail when the All A paperwork rolls in if they are one of the schools on the high end of All A enrollment standards. YUP, SURE DO! LOL

LOLAbout once a month or so, I go in the USMC recruiting office. I go there for two reasons, to pick on the Army recruiter, and to bs with the Marine recruiters. They have a big white board on their office wall. On that board, it has a list of al the schools in their recruitment zone. The number of male students and female students. The two numbers that stuck out in my mind which really amazed me was the difference in the schools Shelby Valley and Pikeville. There was a grand total of 23 kids difference in the two schools.

Well, the enrollment at Pikeville has absolutely nothing to do with this thread, but since you brought it up that makes perfect sense to me seeing how Pikeville HS is grades 7-12 and Shelby Valley is 9-12.

Who's riding who? All my post did was point out simple facts. The facts are, they were eligible for the tournament, they played in it, and won it. No opinions there, just hard facts.
Again, I'm not defending Shelby Valley. I'm laying out the truth and letting the facts speak for themselves.

If they do meet in the second round and Elliott wins, I will congratulate them and wish them well. But even if Elliott manages to get past the first two rounds, I wouldn't open up the spot in the trophy case just yet. Holmes, LexCath, and Eastern will have a say in who takes home the big trophy this year.

Please tell me how in the world you have any idea what Shelby Valley's enrollment is, other than to trust that figure (596) supplied by the school.
You people are amazing. Shelby Valley won the All-A Classic, so now all anybody can say about it is "they must have cheated." Sad.

They may both be in the same building, but they have two seperate principals, two seperate vice principals. The numbers in ther recruiters office is 9-12 just the same as it is at every other school.
