[Old School]

I realize very few people in Eastern Kentucky know about the Aqua Eagles
of Johnson Central High School. The team has be swimming for about 15 years.
The only other local school's that have a swim team are Ashland, Boyd Co. Russell and Elliott Co. is just starting a program up. So they have to travel to Frankfort,Woodford Co. These kids work very hard during the season most of their practices are set up to work on various strokes (Back, Breast, Butterfly and Free Style).
These practices last about 2 hours and they will swim about 3 miles, 4 or 5 days a week.
Last years team had about 33 kids boys and girls from 4th grade to 12th grade. They came in 3rd place in a Frankfort Meet that had 21 Teams and were undefeated in duel, tri and quad meets.
They have started a USS swim team in Johnson County during the summer. Pikeville and Louisa have had a USS team fo a few years also.

The USS team is for all ages you may want to look into it next summer

Wow congratulations!!
me and some of my friends have been swimming for the Pikeville team since we were little and we're in high school now...
Our swim-season is only in the summer though just cuz of lack of an indoor pool and stuff...

But yeah good job at your last meet and good luck in the future!!
