Brown, Middlesboro's senior point guard, had 49 points. He scored 36 points in the second half.

Harlan Co. played very good for 3 quarters, but two guards fouled out for the Bears in the 4th and M'boro turned up the pressure. Of course Brown had 49 points, but I thought the play off the bench of number 14 and 10 for M'boro was key for the win. Harlan Co. held Green and Smith in Check.

36 or 38 points in a half in district championship game is unreal. Canon, did Mike Jones play a zone, man to man, or a junk defense in this one?

They played M'boro man to man. I watched these two teams play early and HC played them a zone and Smith and Green each hit several 3 pointers and the Bears lost by 18 or 20. They tryed about every thing they could against Brown. They tryed to chase him, played him straight up and even doubled him and even tryed to jump him @ half court a few times. This kid just had one of those games when it does not matter if you have 5 on him.
