Best Infielders in the 14th?
#1
Who are some of the best in 09?

( I love 14th region baseball, Just trying to get some discussion started)

Sparkman-JBS and Potter-KCC

both looked solid last year.

Best infielder in the 14th is easy...Brandon Napier at PCC. He has started since the 8th grade and played good amounts as a 7th grader. B-Nape takes away more hits up the middle than any shortstop I have seen in the mountains.
#4
Josh Richardson - Knott

Estill County's first baseman-Drew Freeman. He's tall, limber, and athletic. He covers lots of ground at first and saves lots of outs from bad throws.

Count Trent Singleton in there as well. Good reactions and good glove on third. Hits very well for average too (upper .300s to low .400s).

I agree with Milam, the kid can pick'em up but his attitude is something to be desired.

IMO, Tanner Sexton and Mike Watts from LCC have to be toward the top of anyones list.....Sexton has started since the 8th grade and Watts is junior with a great glove
