The dark age of basketball draws near an end. Soon the cleated ones with steel clubs will take the field. Too long will there season be and we must wait inside our own minds. Only once the last strike has been thrown will the nocturnal beast emerge onto the killing grounds. They will come at night and be hungry and grumpy. Many will lay in ruin during from their carnage. The souls and spirits of all opposers will thus be devoured and we who witness these barbaric bludgeonings will delight in the pain and nashing of teeth.
