Wow, 29 rebounds??? That girl can play, does anyone know where she is from? Knott, Letcher, Floyd, just wondering?

Maris is from Pippa Passes, and has attended JBS since Kindergarten. Thanks for the kind remarks!

Sorry, I just didn't remember her playing grade school ball over their, did she just not play or has she just improved the much these last 2 years? She really has some potential to by possible D-1 player with her height and athletic ability. I hope those young girls can stay together over their, will be something special in the next 2 years. Any news on the athletic program over at JBS for next year? Just wondering if it's still in danger of ending. Would hate to see that happen.

We're blessed to have great youth b'ball programs in eastern KY, aren't we? Several of the JBS girls slong with Maris, have played together since Pee Wee League- on through middle school, and now high school (it doesn't seem all that long ago!). They'll be fun to watch next year. JBS sports will continue for years to come.
