As most my parents know from experience, if I would have kept the book with me it would be lost.
I will post them tomorrow when I get it from our bookkeeper.

I am so proud of our guys not because we won, but because we showed so much HEART last night being down 10 half way through the 3rd against Pikeville and came back and won, then turned around tonight and flat out left everything we had on the floor.
I will add that I know that Messer had 34pts. 19reb. 5 blocks 2ast.
I will post all the stats for our guys tomorrow.

Great job last night coach. I felt my kids really showed their youth last night. Messer was a beast last night and we had no answer for him. We played hard the entire game but could not get over the hump.

Coach your kids absolutely played their tails off last night they have nothing to hang their heads about. Richardson is going to be a very good player as is your son and Bowling. Whats scary is you got a lot of those guys for 2-3 more years.

congratulations Pirates on your win. Eagles , congratulations to you guys, also. You played hard just came up short but don"t ever get down on yourselves or your coach. Theres always next year and you boys have proven all season that you can play and win, last night was just one of those real toughies. Congratulations to # 34 Dalton Richardson and #5 Owen Caudill on the individual trophys, but if I know your hearts you feel that was also a team win!!! Thanks to all the good work from the 8th graders this year, you will be missed next year. All your fans know what a great team you all are and that we"ll have a wonderfully talented team next year, so be PROUD of yourselves your coaches your cheerleaders your fan club and your school..

Thanks guys. My kids wanted to have practice today but I am giving them some time off. I have a special group of kids on and off the floor. 9 of my top 10 players are 4.0 students. They compete really hard and were really upset after a very good Belfry team beat them. Once again, great job Pirates and Coach Varney.

Congrats to both teams for making it into the finals, also, this was one of the most organized and well ran tournaments I have ever attended.

Messers a beast! 34 points 19 rebounds and 2 assists! He had more points than the whole team of virgie! Great job BMS! And best of luck to virgie.

I will keep you updated. Does Messer already have summer plans for any sports. I know of a camp for prospects that we can get him in to. I know he also plays football, is he that good in football too.

I know this question wasn't intended for me but Messer is equally as good in football as he is basketball.

Andrew Newsome played very well for Virgie. He is just a 7th grader and has a whale of a future ahead of him! Congrats Andrew!

Belive it or not i think he is actually a better football player than basketball, even though he is still a beast at basketball
