Corbin 102 - Middlesboro 68
#1
Josh Crawford 33 and 15 (im guessing on the rebounds)
Madison Johnson 18

Blaine Green led Middlesboro with 22 points.

Johnson had two really nice dunks for Corbin and a really nice missed dunk as well. First one was an alley oop from Josh Smith. The second was a break away two handed monster dunk. Corbin cleaned up on the boards. Middlesboro is a nice team and can really shoot the ball well.

According to the Corbin paper, Crawford had 33 points, 10 rebounds (I am almost positive he had more), 5 assist, and 5 steals. I really enjoy watching this Corbin team play. Corbin SHOULD win region but with their 3 big rivals all being capable of pulling an upset (KC and SL proved it's possible), Corbin better be prepared. Also, you never can count out an upset in district. If Corbin winds up having to play Whitley, you can bet they will get tremendous effort from the Colonels.

On the other hand, if the Hounds make it to state, they would more than likely play Ballard, Jtown, or Eastern in the first round. By most outlets, Corbin as well as those 3 teams are top 10 teams. On paper those 3 7th region teams may look a hair bit better but Corbin is very very dangerous and very deep. I think the winner of that game should make it to the finals. Games aren't played on paper so any team will have to work hard. Basically what I'm saying is the sky is the limit for Corbin. Do not count out a strong March run. It may surprise some but I wouldn't be too shocked.
