Some good news on Samardo and his missing teeth. Ahead of Coach Kragthorpe's coaching staff announcement, it was announced (I'm assuming by Kenny Klein) that Samuels will miss the next couple days of practice but is expected to play Thursday at South Bend against Notre Dame.
So how did the crack medical staff at Madison Square Garden deal with the slobber-knocker? Put the liberated teeth in some milk (to preserve the enzymes) and take them to the oral surgeon.
It's really good news for Samardo, although I can imagine the "Marathon Man" degree of anguish he most likely went through.
